Looking for a set of mid 70's Weinmann sidepull calipers. (Even I'm surprised I don't have a set of these.)

Have: quite a bit of stuff depending on what you need.

I'm having second thoughts on building up a mid-80s Pinarello Record with Campy parts, mostly Super Record. I've come to the conclusion that I have enough road bikes and may want to try a touring bike.

With that said, would anyone be interested in trading a 62-63 cm touring frame/bike for a Pinarello Record frame (think it is a 62/63) that needs paint and/or a bunch of Campy parts (including NOS globe hoods, excellent SR brake levers, aero seatpost, 1st gen. C Record RD, SR calipers, Record shifters, new blue shifter hoods, etc.).

Just thought I'd put out a feeler before trying to trade/sell everything separately. Thanks!

Not exactly C&V, but in the correct spirit, I think.

I have an almost-new Shimano Nexus 3-speed wheel that I'm looking to get rid of. I would guess it has fewer than 50 miles on it, certainly fewer than 100. It came on my girlfriends Trek Belleville (also not C&V, but again, in the spirit), but we got a good deal on an Alfine 8spd hub just a couple weeks after buying the bike so we switched em out. Hub is built into a 700c wheel and comes with tube and tire (unsure of mileage on tire).

So yeah, anyone want a deal on a gently used 3-spd wheel? Shoot me a PM. (Since it's a big ol' wheel, I ask that anyone interested pay for shipping as well). We're moving soon, so we gotta get rid of this!

I can't tell from your post - are you selling the wheel or trading it?

ISO parts for a projected SS mixte build for my daughter. Her (stolen) 1978 Niko mixte had bars which she liked. I think they were Sakae 'All Arounders' which are straighter and narrower than North Roads. Also a 3 speed Nexus rear wheel but more likely for the budget, a 16 or 18T freewheel.

ISO also a Brooks, B-17 or Pro, pref. black, just because I haven't tried one yet. A nice Fujita 'Belt' might serve as well.

Have: not much yet, sadly! A pair of Shimano bar-end shifters [added: holy crap, they are Dura-Ace! SL-600, per velobase] , a Shimano 600 FD, a couple of dark aluminum Icon ergo bars (26mm diameter--why do I have one of these, let alone two??)...I'll have to see what else.

Any suggestions welcome, on or off-list. The mixte will be my first ground-up build; I have a $10 Nishiki frame to start with, have a 27" wheelset that can probably be coaxed into shape...

Shimano 600 (SL-6208) shifters w/7-speed index + friction mode. Doesn't matter if there is hardware missing; all I really need to get him is the right-hand lever.

ISO an Araya 27x1 36 spoke rim.
I had a fella stop by that wanted me to refurbish his Centurion Elite RS. He bought this bike new and used to ride quite a bit and rode rollers in the winter, then life and family happened and he stopped riding. Last week he had a heart attack at 45 yrs old. The doctors put in a stent and this Friday they plan to put in a second.( one day outpatient procedure - amazing! ) He obviously should have never stopped riding and he's anxious to get back in the saddle. Would like to keep this bike original but the rear rim is shot.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

PS -- This is red label 27x1 19mm outside width 13mm inside width no eyelets

Kurt, I have the SL-6208 RH lever but thought is was 6-Speed....it's definitely missing internal parts, but if you think it can work you can have it for the shipping cost. Her's a pic of its good LH partner paired with a 105 lever:

Where to post a vintage Paramount trade?

I looked at the Market Place and didn't see a place for vintage sale or trade, so I'm asking here.

If I had a '70s Paramount frame and wanted to trade for same in a different size, where should I post?

Thanks!

That's 100% exactly what's on the bike right now - the SL-6208 LH lever with the same 105 left.

Just looked on Velobase. Could be that it has a 6400-series 7-speed freewheel on it, seeing that there isn't a 6200-series freewheel in 7-speed. I'd probably be after a SL-6400 set then.

You are not going to find them

for 7sp you need either 6400 (Tricolor) or Sante or something else. These are 6sp.
