I'm looking for a cheap "Schwinn size" stem- that is, a slimmer stem, like those found on Varsities and the like. If anyone has one, please feel free to let me know. I have a whole garage full of bicycle parts I can trade for it.

ISO: Lightweight BB that will work with late 80's Campy SR crankset.

Must be British threaded. Something like a titanium OMAS would be cool...

ISO: Clamp on friction down tube shifters. They will be going on my Miyata touring bike with Suntour derailleurs, but I don't care so much about the brand I just need some that will work well.

Not a fan of dropping the other stickies, but I like this change. How's that for a fair and balanced post?

WHOOPEEE! Now I can get to this forum with only one click. Saves me having two tabs open concurrently when I'm trying to reference something from this thread in the main forum.

I'm excited this thread has come here!

Have:
Cinelli 64-40 Criterium bars with double grooves, mounted once, never ridden. I didn't like how the ergos mounted on them.
Nitto Technomic stem, 90mm and loooooong.
Nitto Randonneur bars, 42mm at the drops. Comfy, but not what I need.

Want:
Cinelli Stem, 90mm, 26.0 clamp
Cinelli or other italian bars, 40cm, 26.4 clamp.

I also have other stuff for trade, see my post on the last page.

yes I am asking for different clamp sizes.

I am in seek of:
9 or 10 speed chains, new or near new
Dura ace 7402 RD (8 speed era)
A quality clamp-on suntour front derailleur, either a vx, cyclone or superbe
suntour bar cons
A super cheap front derailleur for a double with a 31.8 clamp.. a sora would be good.. for the winter bike set up.
short reach stems 60-80mm, for threaded steerer. I am looking for a good 60mm stem for threadless too though, and 31.8 bar clamp.
Any strange foreign parts, especially from the eastern block, favorit, kharkov; derailleur, seat post, anything really!

Trade stuff:
English thread campy athena headset, I also have an italian thread record but the top nut has a crack in it
Italian thread Caldato headset, steel and fab condition.. probably from the 1960s never heard of the brand!
3 Never used zeus downtube dual cable guides, these mount near the BB if you have no cable guides, run your cables for the gear changers, with long side for the front derailleur so you don't need a cable stop, they are for smaller diamater frame tubing though, probably french stuff.. was a wee bit too small for a japanese cromoly frame I tried it on.
champagne anodized 3t stem threaded type stem, 130 length, 26 clamp
A few anatomic bend drop bars, i like classic, if you wanna try em and see if you like em or not, a black itm and silver 3t, 42ish cm center to center
deep drop ambrosio bars, 26.4 clamp
some cheapy 100mm reach stems 22.2 shafts, such as SR and a winpista
Sr stem with weird shaft size like 21.something mm, maybe for schwinn varsity or other cheap american road bikes, short 50mm reach.
Some cheaper SR cranksets, signature, 170mm arms, 110bcd or 144bcd
steel toe clips for those 80s aero shimano pedals
shimano bar end control shifters
buncha other stuff, ask and I just might have it somewhere

ISO components for Raleigh Lenton Reg Harris

I recently acquired a later model (1961?) Raleigh Lenton Reg Harris bicycle. During my initial assessment, it appears that there are a few items on the bicycle that are not original components. Based on what I've turned up sp far, I'd need the following parts to return this bicycle back to factpory spec for the period:

- Cyclo-Benelux 'Mark 7' 4-speed rear derailleur
- Cyclo-Benelux 'Mark 7' 4-speed freewheel (14T, 16T,18T, and 20T)
- pair GB handbrake levers (not sure of model number)
- Dunlop rims (32/40 hole, I believe)
- Racelite large flange hubs
- Dunlop H.P. road racing tyres (27" x 1 1/4")
- Bracket mounted on front fork to attach headlamp to
- Reproductions of any of the frame decals

If anyone can steer me towards any of these parts, I'd appreciate the assistance. Thanks!

No Kurt, this one's a nice shade of red with a white headtube. Picked it up locally here in Maryland, last night to be exact.

I believe the model is the Lenton Grand Prix (or at least that's what my '61 said on the downtube). Here's what it looked like when I sold it:

I'm afraid I don't have any of those parts as about every one is relatively rare and valuable!

Greetings Neal!

That's it (save for mine being in what I believe they referred to as 'Flambuoyant Carmine')!
