I have a pair of 7402 Dura Ace aero brake lever hoods that I need to trade for a pair of 7401. It might be a stretch, but if anyone is holding on to a pair and are willing to trade I would greatly appreciate it.

ISO stronglight 93 crankset, complete or crank arms only, with or without dust caps, drilled chain rings a plus, 170-175mm arm length, condition doesn't have to be a 10/10, i will be polishing them so nicks and scrapes here and there are a plus

ISO:

*Brooks B.72 or B.66
; preferably used and nicely worn in. Tears on nose rivets and excessive dry-rot are not welcome, however.

*One pair of Peter Kohler's grey Raleigh repop grips, like these:

degan, did you find that 7402 hoods do not fit 7401 levers? I too have 7401 levers, but have a set of 7402 hoods which is still in the package and haven't been opened to check for compatibility. A small tear is appearing in one hood and I'll be in the same boat as you soon.

They are very close and have the same little notch on the top and side to keep it in place, bit there was a gap of about 1/4 inch between where the hood ends and where the part of the lever that should be exposed starts.

The Gitane I have has Mafac Racers including the levers but it does not have a adjuster but a barrel fitting in which I have new ones, is this the parts you guys are looking for, if so shoot me a pm with a address and I will get them in the mail.
Here is a pic of the one I removed and the new ones I have.

I think I have a 122.5--installed once but never used. Let me check and get back to you later today.

Hi Matt:

It is a little hard to see but it looks like the cup in your picture is for one of the more common Italian threads (70mm X 24 tpi). Am I seeing this incorrectly?
