I can't believe that nobody has a long reach dual pivot brakeset.

I have many parts, as well as some green stuff (on a college budget), as well as my undying gratitude to finally end this flipping project. I'll even post pictures when it's done!

You're probably just gonna have to go with tektros from ebay.

Yeah, it's a major bummer. I don't like supporting that site, but whatever. I'll stop by my co-op later this week and see if they've gotten anything.

I've had poor luck finding the DA cassette so I will go with an off the shelf 8sp set up. Need to get thing thing rolling.
I have just come across a 13-21 8-sp DA.

What do you consider long reach? A bunch have recently popped up on the iBOB list, but I'm not sure they'd be considered 'budget' to everyone.

Then buy them from a retailer or your LBS. Sometimes we C&V types actually have to buy parts. I have a "may as well be brand new" set of nutted Tektro R559s, but I wouldn't sell them for less than $60.

If you don't find anything local, you can get a Shimano or VO Italian threaded cartridge BB for under $25. I have pairs of recessed mount brakes, both sidepull and centerpull.

46-ish handlebar , 26.4, suitable for an 80's Colnago. So, right now, that means Italian made, if at all possible.
