Nobody here will be able to help me with this, but on the off chance...

I'm in search of a pretty modern mountain drivetrain build group. Money is tight and my parts are limited, but I can make it work. I just need a source.

I'm looking for a pair of aero brake levers that would be good for long touring, something like a Cane Creek or Tektro that are a little wider than more vintage levers. I have a pair of DA-740X with slightly mismatched hoods that I was going to use that I am willing to trade. I also have a campy BB (not sure of the threading or length at the moment but I can find out.) as well as other stuff.

What's "modern" to you, and what parts do you lack? I have some 90's XT stuff.

Search the forums for a JR Restore/Velocals thread about him being non-responsive. Bump it up to the top with your inquiry. Those threads usually prompt him to respond.

I realize this isn't exactly an equal trade, but I'm willing to let the Schwinn go without any additional compensation

Sometimes I don’t get you people. Is there some sort of secret society going on here? Some of you are very nice, and some of you are kinda strange. Which is fine with me, because you are all faceless strangers to me anyhow.

Tange 2, it’s actually pretty common. Maybe some of you have heard of it.

It’s becoming of little importance to me now, I’m getting worn-out on the whole C&V thing anyway.

ISO: New or lightly used TA triple cyclotouriste chainrings with spacers (don't need the crankarms, just the rings) - preferably in the general range of 50/38/28.

Have: Stronglight 49d crankarms, Stronglight 93 crankset, Sugino AT crankarms, NOS Nervar (50.4 inner) crankset, NOS Duopar. Lots of other stuff too, so if you have the rings and can bear to part with them, let me know what you're looking for.

I have a nearly NOS, lightly used TA triple (50/42/32) set with the triple chainring bolts and spacers that has been waiting for the right bike (and crank arms) to come along. The problem is, if I swap for a set of 49Ds, them I'm in the similar dilemma of needing the right rings to come along to complete the family... oy!

Is the Duopar the Eco or Titane?

If you can, post or PM me with an idea of what else nice and interesting you might have to trade... maybe I can be convinced to let go of the TA set.
