Last week I acquired an '89 Trek 1000 (aluminum road bike). I believe the original wheels were Matrix Titan-Tour 700c, but currently the wheelset is Mavic Velotech on Shimano 105 hubs. Anodized (gray/green). The rear rim is twisted. 36 spoke, IIRC. 700 x 25 tires.

Anyone with either rim?

Still looking for the frameset listed in my signature file below. Frames/complete bikes for trade can be found in link.

Now I also have a few Super Record and Nuovo Record bits I'm willing to trade. See here.

Looking for a pair of non-aero brake hoods for and old pair of levers - one Dia Compe, one Weinmann, but they pretty much match. Black preferred, obviously anything above servicable condition is appropriate for this mis-matched Raleigh Grand Prix commuter.

Also looking for a pair of platform pedals that work with Power Grips, rectanglular shape better than any curves.

Have a few random bits to trade, but not above paying for shipping plus a bit more.

Want:
Leather saddle such as a Brooks (in brown, ideally Honey)
Bar end shifters 7 speed indexed or silver Suntour microratchet

PM me with offers....

Saddle UP! I have a San Marco in gray suede I want to trade for *something* similar with a light-ish brown-ish leather covering, preferably smooth but open to considering textures and suede. This saddle was purchased on behalf of a friend who wanted something for a silver/metallic bike but rejected this one...so I kept it (until now). The suede is thick, the padding firm and plastic shell is fine, even has an original foil tag on bottom, but suede shows a bit of discoloring from dirt and perhaps sweat...to be expected with light color suede, I reckon. Profile is very close to an Avocet I'd say:

Tell me what you have in honey brown/caramel/butterscotch (sounds like breakfast!)I have more pics at:http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...arcoGraySuede/

That is one pretty saddle unworthy1 and I'm sad I don't have anything at all worthy of trading for it.
