Those are for local pick-up only.

Word from London is your Hetchin's is ready for paint. They wondered if you really wanted it in camo.

Do they really expect us to go out there with camouflaged bicycles? Tell them to paint them black, like every other one.

You've got a Hetchin's and you want it painted black. I'll tell Kinch.

And here I thought that hole in the lever was for tightening the bar clamp all this time....

The 1st deltas used the same lever as cobalto and when they were revised I believe they had this tension hole (but I could be wrong, there may have been a year where they were the same as chorus/athena).
Are you sure? Aren't you talking about these:

I'm trying to locate a rigid 1" fork with a 240mm or so steerer for an old Schwinn High Sierra mt. bike. The bike has 26" wheels. I bought the bike and used its fork for another project but would now like to build it back up for my son.

Does anybody have one of these just taking up space?

Thanks!

For the ones posted here first, yes. Junkyard's picture from Velobase show a lower hole which does not serve as a fixing nut.

No, those brake levers are fakes, they're not campagnolo at all, just crap. Maybe Weinmann if you're lucky. It looks like someone put new hoods on them and then engraved the levers themselves.

Total crap.

Mail them to me, and I'll restore them and mail you back what look like NOS Weinmann levers.

I just stripped down a pair of Ross Professional Gran Tour bikes (circa early/mid '80's), and you are welcome to the forks if you can use them. It had 27" wheels, but maybe your 26's would fit if they are not too wide? Let me get some pics and dimensions. Sorry for my ignorance, but for clarification:

240mm = just under 10 inches from the fork crown to the very top of the threaded tube? Or measured from a different spot?

EDIT: Sorry, but the threaded steerers (1" diameter) are 5 5/8" and 7" long. I guess I should list them on the "pay it forward" thread rather than discard them.

Heck, that thing is more then enough for most folks - one doesn't really need more.

(Mind you, that's coming from a fellow who's main computer specs are 2.8gig Presler (Pent. D), 4GB DDR2, 250GB+80GB SATA, 750w PSU and a Radeon 3450 for starters - which is already showing its age).
