You know the little clamp-on pulley wheel that holds the cable at the top of the seat tube on an English three speed bike? Well, I need on of those, but a double one. Two pulley wheels, side by side on the same axis. An item so rare and bizarre that if you have one, you may not even know what it is.

For this rarity I'll trade you... oh, I dunno, what do you need? I'm sure I have it, though.

Rudi - Interesting. What brand used that configuration? Is the pulley used for one or two components? Are the pulleys independent?

I'm wanting this for a hybrid gearing. The wheels have to turn independently. One cable shifts an AW hub, the other a derailleur. The cable routing to the derailleur in question, a Trivelox Model B, has to go this way. The cable to the hub could be routed along the down tube, if necessary.

I should probably start our bump a thread about this.

Like this?

If this is one pulley, I believe you need two right, I wonder if the shaft is long enough to put two Sturmey pulleys on it.

RHM and your dual pulley guide-
In the back of my memory have a vision of seeing a dual cable pulley guide in an old Cyclo or Benelux catalog. I've been searching for a specific chain tensioner and there's some pics posted of the catalog having the part and other items like the pulley. Disraeligear site or was this something Sheldon Brown did for his own, way back time machine?? One could have purchased a rd kit for IGH. RD shifter cable could parallel run with the IGH cable. Might have been just a longer screw, spacer and the two individual pulleys.

BTW: Still searching for a vintage chain tensioner. My previous post have some trade items. Have other stuff and please inquire. Thanks

After searching around I found one Raleigh crankset in the UK that was what I was looking for...but upon closer inspection had quite a bit of shallow pitting. For $80 CDN I wasn't all that happy with the condition.

I went with this one: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BANKRUPT-VINT...fa42333&_uhb=1

It looks just like the chainset used on some of the Raleigh 3 speed clones I've seen. I hope it will fit fine and if not...well it is NOS and half the price of other cottered single cranks available that were used.

Thanks Arex for the offer but I think the Thai crank will meet the round folder. What a POS.

Have:
Magura hydraulic rear rim brakes, shimano light action front and rear derailleurs, XT 7/8 speed rear derailleur, rino 26.8 seat post, acera right flat bar 8 speed shifter, olive green NOS Raleigh Sports chain guard, a bunch of hubs...I have a box of parts. Let me know what you are looking for and if I don't have what you need perhaps we can come to some other arrangement.
I am sure I have a few spare Raleigh cranks that I'd send for the cost of shipping as they are a little weighty.

ISO small chainring (I think 36t is it) for TA *3-bolt* crankset.
I know this came as part of a 'triplizer' kit from TA with 3 long bolts and spacers (kit #83 '3 attaches'), but it could be mounted as the small ring on a double setup. Either could work for me. I'm trying to add a low gearing option to my Grand Record, this is one possibility. (There is one on eBay right now but $50 BIN seems steep.)

Have: lots of random stuff!

I have two complete cottered cranks, both left and right arms for each! Don't know the size but can probably find out within a day. One set, the nice Nervar that came on my UO8, I'd rather not split up. The other is a lesser crank than came on a Motobecane Nomade.

Are you in a rush?

Somebody was selling 116mm bcd 3-pin alloy rings on Ebay and CR in December. I bought a 36t which was the most expensive at about $24 shipped, the 38t and 40t were much cheaper. They're not TA and he didn't know who made them, but they're good quality. His Ebay seller's name is ccdc.1 and maybe you could get in touch with him. I don't even have a TA crank yet, but with the 36t ring it's a much more attractive option.

No rush at all, and if you'd like to part with the lesser crank I would certainly be interested! Thank you

The cotter-pin cranks I have are 170, not 165. I just measured them. Sorry.

Raleigh or otherwise? I find the Raleighs to be a tighter fit than say, Birmingham. There are lots of Raleigh made generic crank arms out there that just won't work on other British axles.

I have a 1960 Hercules that I need the arm for, 1960 is the year Raleigh bought Hercules, but based on the dropouts and more Hercules-esque parts it's a pre-Raleigh bike so I think the Sugino arm should likely work just fine. Thanks! Good information to keep in mind though, I had thought they were all the same.
