I would like to trade for a set of nice vintage cranks in 172.5 length, either something related to the Suntour group (think Superbe, SR Royal, or Sugino Super Mighty) or Campagnolo, hopefully with the correct length/taper spindle.

I have two nice 170mm cranksets to offer that are just a wee bit short for my legs: a set of mirror-finish Sugino AS cranks with 52-42 rings, and a first gen Dura Ace set with 52-39 rings. Both have been used but are in very good condition, rings have plenty of life left, worst wear is that some of the outer layer of chrome has come off one of the DA dustcaps. Pictures:

I have other trade goods besides cranks too, just ask.

Have to trade, lots of stuff including assorted chain rings, MAFAC gold anodized brakes, freshly recovered leather saddles, a variety of seat posts, hubs, Sturmey Archer hubs... far too much stuff to list. Whatever you want, good chance I have something like that.

I have one but it's stamped 23.8 and yours looks to be something else (that ends with "2"). if you think 23.8 will fit, PM me.

That IS what I was asking about but "150" is a little vague, and based on experience you won't have much wiggle-room to fudge with headset stack heights, so...measure twice or even 3X to be sure.
i probably have a chrome fork that could work, but won't waste your time until there's a certain number (like a steerer length/height or headtube length/height) to work with.

Thanks for the offers, but I got antsy and bought a stem off the 'bay. If anyone's looking for a Nitto Technomic stem let me know and I'll get the full measurements.

And a longshot: I'm also in need of a C-Record era brake lever blade (just the blade) if anyone's got one. Chorus, Athena -- I don't care as long as it will fit. Thanks.

Yeah, please send me the measurements on that stem - both reach and distance to minimum insertion. Feel free to PM me so we don't clutter up this thread. Thx!

Wanted:
Decent 27" alloy clincher wheelset, 120 or 126 OLD. Something pretty conventional to put on my Super Sport project

Have:
Brooks B17 black, not actually vintage. It's a pretty hard one. Does not fit my bum.
Early 1990's MTB wheel, Araya hard anodized rim with Shimano Deore XT 7-speed freehub, 36 spoke, barely used. Would be an awesome upgrade to a 21 speed MTB with a freewheel.

Located in Sacramento area if you want to avoid shipping.

I'll look through my stash to see what I have as I am local. Have you looked at the Bike Kitchen in Midtown. Last time I was there they had some 27" wheels.

Wanted: Shimano 6500 crankset or crank arms in 170mm or 172.5mm. The nicer the condition the happier the rebuild. In the dream world, as NOS as possible and 170mm would make the Zunow and rider happiest.

Have: Saddles (a couple of vintage Bernard Hinault Turbo's in black suede and a couple of Terry Fly's with titanium rails; one black, one blue) and miscellaneous Campy bits (NOS front derailleur and NOS DT friction shifters + shiny NOS toeclips one small and one medium set....not sure if I want to part with the Campy but would consider it); NOS black Cinelli toeclips, Mavic handlebar 42cm, NOS Cinelli hinge stem (entire black top is hinged and folds forward for handlebar swap), NOS 6sp Shimano 600EX corncob (13-14-15-16-17-18). More bits lying around. Possibly some circa 1990 Shimano XT mtb derailleurs/shifters...other bits lying around and taking up space. Just ask if I have anything else. I might have it. I've got vintage mtb bars, levers, front derailleurs.

Wanted - Shimano 6500 or 7700 double crankset

Wanted: Either Shimano 6500 or 7700 double crankset (or crank arms) in 170mm or 172.5mm.

The nicer the condition the happier the rebuild. In a dream world, as NOS as possible and 170mm would make the Zunow and rider happiest. 7700 preferred but glad to get a nice 6500.

Have:
(1) Barely used vintage Bernard Hinault Turbo saddle in black suede
(2) A couple of Terry Fly's with titanium rails; one black, one blue in superb used condition
(3) Miscellaneous Campy bits (NIB front derailleur, NIB DT friction shifters + NIB toe clips one small and one medium set). I believe the FD is Nuovo Record and the friction shifters are Grand Record. Not sure if I want to part with the Campy but would consider it if the crankset is worth it
(4) NOS black Cinelli toeclips, NOS Cinelli Domino stem (entire black top is hinged and folds forward for handlebar swap)
(5) NIB 6sp Shimano 600EX corncob (13-14-15-16-17-18)
(6) Mavic handlebar 42cm
(7)More bits lying around. Vintage mtb bars, levers, front derailleurs, roller stems.

PM for pics on any items you are interested in bartering for.
