Anyone have one, or know of a source for one?

Looks like that one goes in the headset stack, correct? Here's one: Headset Brake Hanger - Steel - Silver You want a steel one.

Your LBS should have one, call around.

rhm 05-27-15 05:55 PM

I have one that I made from a brake lever. It clamps to the 22.2 mm section of stem above the headset, so isn't involved with the headset at all. You can make your own, or pm me and I'll send you mine. I'm not using it anymore. It's not even very ugly!

I'm seeing it in my mind, and by golly, that's a pretty good McGiver!

YES, +1 ^ I like it, but would like to see a pic, too...when you get around to it.

By "SR crank," do you mean "Sakae Ringyo" or Campagnolo "Super Record?" If Sakae Ringyo, what BCD ring are you looking for? They made cranks with 86mm, 110mm, 118mm, 130mm, and 144mm BCD (and possibly others as well), and both 3-arm and 5-arm spiders for some BCDs.

Cerrig 05-30-15 02:21 PM

Sorry, I was in too much of a hurry, I apologize. They are Sakae Ringo, 5 arm road double cranks with a 118 bcd.

ISO American size (21.15 mm) quill stem for an old Ross ladies bicycle. I don't care about size or condition as long as it's functional.

I will be looking for something else tomorrow in my bike room, so I will see what I have. I suspect I have a few laying around, probably steel but I may have an aluminum one as well. If I find something, I'll contact you through PM, but you can probably have it for cost of shipping. The small flat rate Priority Mail box seems to work well for things like this.

That would be terrific! I'll be waiting patiently.

I've got a couple of these cranks and always keep my eyes open for NOS rings cuz 118 is obsolete. I'd wager substantially you won't find anything other than 40/42/50/52 in that bcd. Black is even rarer

gaucho777 06-02-15 12:31 PM

ISO: Looking for a mid-70s weight weenie freewheel. Alloy (or even titanium if a reasonable trade can be made), and ideally with a low gear in the 24t-26t range. Something like a Zeus 2000, Maillard Course 700 (alloy cogs), Regina Titanio, Suntour Microlite, etc. but open to other options. English threading preferred, might consider Italian. Used okay, and willing to overhaul innards on my end, but should have some life left on the cogs.

Have: A good amount of this & that. What do you need?

Seabass_First 06-02-15 12:43 PM

Iso: campy groupset. why not? its worth a try!

I have a BSC thread Zeus freewheel I'd consider trading for a set of high-flange Zeus or Campy track hubs.

John, thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, no track hubs on this end.

True. I have noticed lots of vintage Campy groupsets on eBay lately. I don't recall seeing that before, but perhaps I just missed it, while shaking my head in disbelief at people "parting out" brakes. I haven't bitten on any of them (even NR sets aren't pocket change). It seems like most of them are coming out of Europe. I imagine that might be a tactic to keep shipping costs down to the US. It's probably worth a quick scan.

Im not picky. pretty much anything OTHER than triumph(have one)... also it doesn't have to be complete, could be a "mini group" with just cranks & derailleurs

Hello,

ISO

In mild desperate need for a seat tube Reynolds 501 decal. About ready to roll my 89 Gazelle Race out for the summer season and don't have this important piece in place yet.

Any one with one out there ?

have

Many things... Thanks !

mountaindave 06-04-15 08:24 PM

Your fastest bet is probably going to be velocals. I've had good luck with Cyclomondo from down under. Either one could probably hook you up with just the one decal.

nesteel 06-04-15 09:10 PM
