Long Shot:

Silver 16-Spoke non-HPW Campagnolo Shamal Wheels for 8-speed cassette. Clincher preferred but will also consider tubular.

Will pay a very fair price. I don't expect you to give them away.

looking for:

- 44cm or wider drop bars, like a nitto noodle, or the regular old nitto bars without the bend.

- non aero brake levers with good condition gum hoods. campy would be nice but brand doesnt matter too much as long as they're quality.

- a brooks saddle with springs

- a brooks saddle without springs, ie, b17. black honey or brown is fine.

-front rack for canti's or any other front rack.

- panniers

have:

some Mavic stuff:

starfish crank - 175, forget the ring sizes but I can get them. it's missing one inner chainring bolt that doesnt seem to hinder performance.

mavic ssc headset - i think the crown race is 26.4. It's the french size, not the japanese size. I'll figure it out and update this post.

mavic ssc brakes with ceramic pads. no adjusters, what you see is what you get. I used them without adjusters and they worked fine.

mavic ssc front and rear der's. both show wear. the rear doesnt have the pulley in the pic but I have it. The front comes with extra rebuild parts but it usable as is.

- new campy mirage 9 sp compact crank. comes with BB bolts not down. I installed it but ended up using a different crank because I didnt like black with the bike.

campy record rear mech.

Have: Suntour Superbe Pro crankset; double ring; outer ring = 52 tooth, 130 bcd; black in color

Inner ring: Sugino; 38 tooth; silver in color

Crankset is in nice shape, could surely track down some matching chainrings, maybe another Superbe Pro for the inner

Also have the bottom bracket that this crankset was mated with. It's an American Classic.

Want: Shimano 8 speed/double shifters. 1055 105's would be nice, but I'd be happy with Ultegras or Dura Ace.

Please PM me if interested!

Ryan, be careful, Dura Ace is only compatible with Dura Ace. Mix n matching it with NON-Dura Ace levers may cause shifting issues.

Hey, I'm looking for 36-hole campagnolo record hubs. 5 or 6/7 speed okay, I prefer 6/7 though.

And, for reference, I've got an electric-acoustic mandolin, a violin with a snazzy case, and a banjo from the 1920's up for trade. Rock n' roll, guys.

Jim,

If he's talking 8-sp STI, I've mixed Dura Ace shifters with 600 tricolor and also 600 tricolor shifters with Dura Ace RD and cassette. It worked just fine, but once I got all the components to match, I set them up together. I'm pretty much convinced the 600/DA STI shifters in 8-sp were identical except for materials.

The same DA bar end shifters work with 8-sp 7400 RD's and 9-sp 7700 RD's.

I have no clue about the DT shifters.

I need to finish my budget time trial bike, and would like to do so at the end of the week.
ISO/WTB:
[strike]9 or 10 speed Shimano rear derailleur- Ultegra or Dura Ace, price is more important than condition as long as it's straight[/strike]
[strike]Braze-on double front derailleur- 105 quality or better, Shimano, SunTour or Sram[/strike]
A 27.2 seatpost with as low a profile clamp as possible- cosmetics and length are unimportant, I only need about 3 inches of the post, preference given to minimal set-back and 2 bolt designs
A triathlon specific saddle- used and cheap, white or blue would be great, but black is acceptable

Those are my primary requirements to get the bike operational, but also on my wish list:
54-56 tooth 130 BCD chainring
Aero water bottle/cage (prefer non-Campy)
80s style aero saddle
and here's a long shot: some profile design f-19 armrests or similar, my split seconds seem to be missing a rest

I also need something in the brake department, I've got stuff lying around, but if you have an interesting offer I'm all ears.

Have:
A pretty extensive collection of stuff, but not much time to make a list. If there's anything specific maybe I can help you.
Otherwise it's strictly a WTB. I'd love to be able to drop some real money on this bike, but I can't justify it right now, so keep in mind that I'm looking for cheap stuff.
Pm me with what you've got.

WTB:
* Shimano aero brake levers; prefer DA 7400's, tricolor 600's, or similar, with decent hoods and no major cosmetic issues.
* 172.5mm crank/rings/Eng BB; prefer 110/74 triple

Have: bunch of NOS SunTour stuff, i.e. XC Pro brake levers, thumbshifters, greaseguard BB, etc. 1.125 threaded Judy XC

I've got some Ascent tri-bars, with pads, nearly new from Performance or Nashbar. I put the Profiles on the grad student's bike, as a gift, and took hers. She liked them, but went from an Ironman to a Team Fuji Carbon, and the Ascent's wouldn't fit her bar. (I gotta give her something for riding around behind her all the time.) I need round chain rings for Shimano, 52-53 and 39-42. I am simply not a BioPace guy.

Well hell. They're gone. They still have Nuovo Gran Sport parts, but no NR showing up. I SWEAR it was there just a few weeks ago! Now the only thing I see for NR is a bushing. (It's in "Small Parts >> Derailleurs >> Misc", rather than in "derailleurs >> rear" for some reason.)
