ISO: Long cage RD. Shimano or Suntour. I'm looking for something equal to or greater than Deore/XC in quality. 8 speed indexing a possible plus. Needs to be functional but not looking for a show piece.
27.2 seatpost, minimum length of 350mm. Not terribly concerned about appearance or brand really but I'd prefer something not bottom of the barrel. Have: This stuff here. And also a few other odds and ends. |

ISO an old fashioned quill stem, 9-10 cm long, 7/8" quill, 1" clamp.
A chromed steel one, like Titan, GB, Reynolds, would be utterly splendid, and any imitation thereof, would be fine. Alternately, an aluminum I-beam (girder) would be wonderful, especially one by GB or Reynolds, but an imitation would be fine as well. Alternately... well, what's in the bins? In trade, I have neato stuff, real nice, I promise. |

FYI: if appearance isn't a concern, MKS metal dustcaps will fit on Campagnolo pedals. You can even sand off the MKS logo if it bothers you.

Still seeking; Set of steel brake levers, kind that would be appropriate on an English drop bar road bike from the 50's.
Posses; many things, 'cept what RHM is looking for. |

You can have these but the condition speaks for itself.

Anyone have a spare 19T cog. I need to replace the one on my Shimano 6700 10s cassette. It needs to be just the single cog, not attached to other cogs. Thanks.

Shimano 105 FD Double braze on
Will trade you a 105 clamp on, I must have 5-6 of them, very clean.

Ultegra 8-speed
ISO: Ultegra 8-speed bar end shifters.
I have stems, cranksets, a 9-speed hyperglide cassette and various other items to trade. Just PM me. |
Looking for: Shimano 32h hubset, 130mm rear spacing, silver polished finish, for 8-9 speed cassette. I've been looking at the 105 series like 5500, 5600, 5700 but wouldn't be opposed to 600 level like the tri color. I don't need cosmetically perfect, just good smooth bearings. That's why I'm posting here instead of browsing ebay- I don't trust the general public's view of "good" condition on hubs.
What I have: Mismatched Nuovo record downtube shifters, Nitto Young stem (25.4 dia, short like 70mm, have to measure), Exage 300EX 7-speed mini group (F&R derailleurs, downtube shifters, brakes), Mavic 645 clipless pedals, SR Apex crankset (type with press fit large chainring), Suntour ARX rear derailleur with matching? Suntour 7 FD. Maybe other things. Edit: Found some NOS hubs that will work. Also looking for Dura Ace 7403 (8 speed) 32h rear hub or F+R hubset. |

they're pretty reasonably priced to buy new online, just in case you were willing to go that route..

Henry, I may have something but need to check...stand by, for a couple days..
BUT that's why this deal is offered: just cover shipping (flat rate medium box to any ContUSA address for $12) and they are YOURS to play with and experiment. If nobody chimes in I'll donate them to Bike Kitchen or landfill :( Here are some pix: http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pso7mlwkyg.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psro8ihdri.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psuhvsqwvd.jpg Just PM me... |
I'm looking for a 1960s/70s French frame that's been rendered unrideable as a result of a front-end collision. No fork needed. A badly buckled head tube and forward sections of the top and down tubes are not a problem as long as the bottom bracket, seat tube, and chain/seat stays are intact. Ideally I'd like something along the lines of a Peugeot PX or PY, but something a little lower on the food chain could also work.
Shoot me an email at jon@redclovercomponents.com if you have such a frame--I'm sure we can work out a satisfactory exchange of some kind. |
I held onto a Teledyne axle and bolts for 40 years, so
I bought the frame, nos from an area bike shop, out of nostalgia, and now feel like a bit of a dope, (not for the first time).
I'm now ISO a Teledyne Titan "death fork" to fit a 22" frame... I know, common as hen's teeth. I do have nice trade goods.i've got lots of Campy NR, SR, some drillium from BITD, various Columbus and Reynolds frames from '70s and '80s. Many tubular wheelsets (training and raceday) and hubs same period, Clement Criterium Seta tires , green label... (1) 700 or 27" no wear, but light glue (1) 650c never glued. Scott Mathauser caliper brakes, etc. A pair of 650c tubular spinergy 4 spoke wheels, mint carbon. I have a borderline darkside item too. A 650c black Kestrel 500 sci frame, mint almost NOS condition... |
@jonwvara, I'm dying to know what your plans for a wrecked frame are.

ISO - Suntour Symmetric Shifter Attachment Bolt - the allen bolt to attach to brazed on frame boss - (I believe it is M6x75)
For trade - I have a LePree bracket that will allow attachment of the Symmetric Shifter to a frame without a brazed on boss - threading is standard M5 (Plus other stuff if you are in need) (Threading on the boss is the same as the suntour endless adapter band - so if I can't find one, I will take a Superbe FD with the endless band and use those parts, drilling out the Symmetric Shifter to accept the bolt for the endless band - so worst case I guess I would trade the Superbe FD for the bolt) Using the Symmetric Shifter on a Nishiki International (~84) that I'm building up for my daughter. Thanks Joe |
