I don't think they meet my needs. I've been watching Ebay for a week now. What I find are either too long (>9), too short (>7.5), or not tall enough (only 6 or 7 cm rise). I'm asking what BF members have.

Thanks for searching! If I've missed something, please let me know.

I don't have the adaptor, but we could possibly win a dog look a like contest.

Can I interest any C&Vers in a Biria City Touring City frameset? Included is the 48cm frame, headset, fork, stem, bars, and V-brakes (arms only). It's in good shape. The frame finish is burnished aluminum with a clear coat over the top. A few places look as if the clear coat is peeling, but overall the decals, head tube badge and finish is nearly new. I've not taken any pictures. Here's what it looks like on the web page.
https://www.biria.com/bicycles/tc/tc_superlight_3.jsp

The fork and stem on mine are black.

WHAT'S NOT Included: BB, cranks, wheels, fenders, chain, chainguard, pedals, saddle, lights, rack, cables, levers, and any thing else not mentioned above.

PM me if interested. I need an 26" MTB rear wheel that can accept a 9 speed cassette. I'm also just interested in passing it along, so just about anything would do the trick. My guess is shipping should be about $30-40.

I guess the conclusion is that no BF'ers have a stem I could buy. I wish there was a more prominent place I could post a Want ad! This seems to be a not-well-frequented area.

Why don't you ask on the C&V forum? you may get a better response there as it does seem that not to many member come here.

I have a couple of stems that meet your criteria........not sure how French they are. Also one with a French logo (ATAX) that hits your minimums.

WANTED: old style (26? mm) Campy lock ring for circa 1999 Sirocco rear wheel. I bought the wheel on fleabay for fairly cheap to use as a trainer wheel for the winter and discovered too late that prior to '99 Campy used a different lock ring diameter than the current 27mm (of which I have 2). Also, does anyone know if my 10 speed cassettes will fit properly on this hub (the splines appear to be just fine, and it looks like it will fit but I want to be sure).

Alternatively, is anyone looking for a Campy Sirocco rear wheel? It's in great shape and comes with a Michelin Prorace 2 tire. Asymmetric bladed spoking (radial non-drive, x1 drive side). Will trade for any Campy 10sp compatible rear wheel, condition relatively unimportant (for use on a trainer only, so I don't care much about buggered up braking surfaces and the like).

I am interested in the headset, and maybe the hubs/rims. What sort of headset and tires are you looking for?? I have some Conti' Sprinters NIB, and a wide variety of headsets.

Because this seems to be the place we are SUPPOSED to post interest in sales and purchases? Read Lotek's intro to these threads.

Response greatly appreciated, Rockhound! Please tell me what you have - it does not need to be a French stem. If you prefer, PM me.

Also be aware my needs have changed a bit. A few more rides are telling me I should be looking at stems with extension 6 or 7 cm, but with the same height requirements.

Pretty sure I have what you need Rusty, but I won't be able to check till I get home from work tonight; if I do, it's yours for the cost of postage.

Really cheap alloy drop bars- Sakae Road Champion or something similar, condition unimportant.

And again, if anyone has a fixer-upper 49-51cm road bike, low-mid level, my boss' daughter wants one for Christmas and I said I'd help. Hunting the CR too.

Not sure what you mean by Italian threading, as my Campy rear wheels use the same freewheels as my Shimano rear wheels (those that use the 7-sp freewheels, etc).
I've swapped Regina back and forth with Shimano, no problem. PM me and maybe we can figure it out...
