ISO: 15 gauge or 1.8mm x 16mm spoke nipples. I'm trying to re-tension a set of wheel, some of the nipples are rounded off. No one in town has them. I only need about 15, don't want to buy a box of 100 if can be avoided.

Thanks!

Building up a Univega Supra Sport (thanks Roger M) for my 15 yo:

ISO:
medium to long reach side pull brakes - 57 mm reach should work
26.6 seatpost

Have:

Suntour Suberbe drilled non-aero levers - need some sanding and polishing for scratches
Maillard circa 1984 13-21 6 spd freewheel - english thread
Shimano Tourney and Dura Ace center pull brakes
Suntour clamp on cable guides for above the bottom bracket on downtube

For trade to PNW folks:

I have an early 80's Motobecane mixte frameset (lots of scratches and chips) in pearl white and measuring 51 cm with an English thread bb. I also have a half Scott Sawtooth mtb that my kids didn't want - I got it with stem, frame, wheels, freewheel (in nice condition) and added a flat bar, Altus rear derailleur and a front derailleur. I would really prefer not to ship either one as it seems to be cost prohibitive for what the bikes are - but I could arrange for drop off (especially in the Seattle area - or in the Boise area next week). Let me know if you'd be willing to trade for something.

ISO:

-Large steel frameset (57-62cm top-tube, 60-65cm seat-tube), semi-complete, or complete. Must have a nice set of tubes (Columbus SL, 531, etc) and nice lugs. Nothing too fancy, as this would be a daily rider.

-Nice, silver 27.2mm seatpost that's at least 25cm long.

-Quality quill stem that is at least 80mm long in the quill. Looking for something from Cinelli with 26.4mm bar-clamp, but open to other bar-clamp diameters. Also, a stem and bar combo would be a plus.

-Good set of platform pedals. Looking for something like Lyotard Berthets or Sakae SP-11s. Or campy triomphe style as well.

-Set of nutted brake calipers (non-recessed).

Have:

-EDCO Competition Bottom bracket. Great condition.

-Avocet RS saddle

-Avocet seatpost

-Shimano 600 pedals, recently repacked with clips and straps.

-Campagnolo Moskva 80 rim laced to Shimano 600 hub

-NISI HR22 rim laced to Campagnolo hub, and double butted spokes

-Regina Extra BX 6sp freewheel

well just found these. I wish I could go back in time and stop the guy I bought all this stuff from from ripping apart these classic bikes.
- phillips cottered spindle serial number 3900437 and marked 6-71
- also just the adjustable side of a brampton bottom bracket with lockring
if anyone is building a classic british bike let me know!

I'm looking for Brooks/Wrights/Ideale or similar saddles with ruined leather. I need the frame and the nose pieces (there are three pieces in the nose); I am learning to replace the leather.

Looking for small-ish steel frame (50cm or close) for a road bike build, or an older complete bike for recondition/restore project. Lugged or not is fine, lugged is preferred if I have a choice. Will probably use 105 components on a frame, probably the original components on a complete bike. I've considered Soma ES or Salsa frames. For a complete bike I've looked at Trek 520, Fuji America, Allez steel, Miyata 7xx/9xx.

Thanks in advance.

Build time, and I'm trying to build these up with silver parts and compact gearing, but have only black parts. So...trade lists!

------------------- Have --------------------

- Tektro black dual pivot calipers R580
- FSA Vero 172.5 compact crankset (fairly new, ridden under 2 months)
- Dura-Ace hidden bolt stem (130mm)
- Shimano 600 tricolor 7sp groupset (wheels, headset and all)
- Brooks leather grips (https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...s.php?id=16308)
- 105 wheelset w/blue anodized Nova rims

-------------------- Want --------------------------

- 110 BCD 50/34-36 chainrings.
- Silver dual pivot brakes
- Nitto Noodle 42/44cm bars
- Silver colored cassette wheelset, 130mm spacing, 9 speed
- two BBs (sealed pref), one 68x123mm and the other 68x118

Last edited by dashuaigeh; 09-07-11 at 07:45 PM. Reason: should be good on the crankset, saddle now - thanks!

ISO: 26 inch fenders. Silver SKS preferred, but any silver fenders will do. Also prefer a square profile if they even made them? Pretty much anything non Zefal if old school. I had a bike with that brand, and wasn't satisfied with the quality,

Also ISO: Long shot I know, but a front/rear set of higher quality (hopefully modern) cantilevers. Avid, Origin8, pretty much anything you got. I have the old style Shimano with the plastic spring cups, and while they do work, they're just not up to par for the build. I have levers already, just need the canti's and the straddle setup.,,,,BD

Both items will be on my 1985 Sierra project. I just "finished" it today, but a lovely Tropical Storm prevented the test ride.
