I think I have a NR 53 or 54 I would trade for a 42. Maybe a 52, would have to search. For freewheels, I'd go with a 5-speed Suntour' bulletproof. Usually available on ebay. If you can use a corncob I can give you one (or 10).

I have other stuff, too. An 8 speed tri-color group, a 1055 DT group, a set of tri-color wheels in uniglide hub, some other stuff. No one with an extra group?

Well, I just picked up quite a few chain rings, some freewheels, and derailleurs. I am looking to trade for pretty much any Japanese made mid grade or better part/component from the 1980s. Derailleurs, cranks, stems, seat posts, whatever.

Pretty much all of it is NOS.

I have three MTB FDs, all XT. One is top pull, the others are bottom pull. All 28.6 clamp size. All gone.

Freewheels: two 8 speed, one Falcon, one Sunrun. Both 13/28

2 FG cogs: 20 tooth and 13. One SS freewheel: 20 tooth.

Lots of chainrings, too many to list individually. Three new biopace, two outer ring, one smaller ring.

Two Campy chainrings in the last picture.

A couple of nice red chainrings, SS? Marked 42 1/8

Here's some stuff I am looking for: Shimano DT indexed braze on shifters (6 or 7 speed), Shimano road derailleurs like RX100 or better, dual pivot brake calipers (from SORA on up, and off brands too), higher end Suntour bits (Cyclone, Sprint, Ole), that kind of stuff. I also need one Weinmann concave 700C rim.

Rather than load this up with all of the pictures, just click through to my flickr page where I have three more pics.

I still have your Nitto Technomic. 25.4 here, 70mm reach, but it's attached very securely to a St. Tropez.
I could always cut the head tube off and send it to you with the fork still attached.

Ha! I'm set Robbie, I don't need the one I have. I'm trying to limber up and stretch out a bit.

ISO:
-Friction thumb shifters or a mount to move DT shifters up to the bars.
-Cable hanger for use with a front cantilever brake
-40T Campy chainring

Finally got pics of some of my extra parts. If you go to the Flickr page for the pic, I've got notes over the items identifying them. I can take closer pics of individual items and do measurements if anyone needs more detail.

Yo Spiff.... I'm interested in the canti brakes. Are the return spring retainers intact? (Mine have plastic retainers, from a mid-90s hybrid, and they cracked.) I'm pretty sure my shoe holder will work with your parts though. I won't be able to do anything about them until Friday, but maybe this weekend we can set up an exchange. I don't have any of the things you are looking for, but maybe I can buy you lunch or something.

I think they are, but I'll double check them this evening. I believe all that is wrong is the one arm is missing the post holder. It came off a pawn shop Trek 800 that I recently fixed up for my nephew. Replaced them with V-brakes from a Gary Fisher that I've been cannibalizing for parts. You can just have the brakes, I'm sure you'll eventually have something I am looking for. (I won't need the Suntour shifter you recently offered, me. I picked up a used set of silver shifters for the Prologue)

Have (all c. ~1985)
campy victory brake calipers (7/10) - some rust on metal parts removed. little wear on pads. of the group, these are in the worst shape. everything else is really pretty good.
campy victory brake levers (7/10) - white hoods in good shape. some light rash on one of the levers
campy super record BB - italian - double - 8/10 GONE
campy super record crankset - 170 STRATA [11]. 8.5/10 (one dust cap is not campy)
campy super record RD - 8.5/10 - great shape w/no date code - no rust
campy super record FD - 8.5/10 - great shape - no rust
campy super record headset spacer (script campagnolo). found it in my parts bin - the headset is long gone.
campy record/super record downtube shifters 8.5/10 - great shape
campy record/super record wheelset - clincher 700c. mavic MA40 rims. w/regina extra 6 speed cassette in great shape.
overall this group saw little miles. one of the wheels likely need relacing as the nipples are rusted - don't remember if its the front or rear right now.

7402 rear(?) brake caliper.
130 black (3t?) stem

Want: modern stuff. 10 speed components. shimano/sram.
