DA Uniglide cogs are all the same as 105/600 except for the 2nd position. Because the threads are smaller than the diameter of the Freehub, it requires a special 2nd position cog with integrated spacer where the teeth are located. Previous owner tried what you suggested already, it doesn't work so well - the cog just spins.

I know I have extra 2nd position, but not sure if they are all 13t or if there is a 14t.
Also have 600 side-pull single pivot brakes - don't recall the condition.

Will have time to look Friday evening.

Glad you noticed. Check my profile pic and you'll understand... or maybe not. My name and weirdo have been used in the same breath on occasion... I had that ad hanging in my college dorm with my bike underneath it. Still ridin' it (the bike, not the ad).

I have a Russian "Frisbee" from that era, won while on deployment from Denmark to what we called NeverNeverLand (near then-Soviet Poland) I really won his tiger-stripe camou blouse, but we traded Frisbees, anyway. Everyone on the ground knew what was coming, and there was no reason to be hostile about it. They were pros, as were we, and we had fun. My nose is still a bit crooked from that one. Every time I sneezed that deployment, my buds would say "Spetznaz!"

PSA for fans of the Shimano 13-21T 7-speed "J" cassette: I was trolling Google the other day and discovered Boulder Bicycle has a couple left over for really cheap. No affiliation, except that I ordered a couple and thought I'd pass on the word.

Shimano Hyperglide 7sp 13-21 cassette new in box

If it were my bike, I would not feel bad about using modern brake pads on that Legnano. Go with Kool Stop.

I am looking for a stem, silver, 100mm, 26.0mm bar clamp. Preferably light weight cool looking Italian mid 80's vintage. Ciocc pantograph would be grail for me.

I have a rough Peugeot leather saddle. I have a 32 hole mavic 571 hub. I have hundreds of NOS Indian stainless spokes. I have a 32h NOS Ambrosio fcs28 rim. I guess looking at my list I could have a relatively nice front wheel with a bit of labour. I have an 80MM ITM liner 80 stem(kind of ugly). I have most of an RSX groupset, just missing the shifters. I have two sets of look style shimano pedals, one set 600 level, the other DA.

I tried to list strange stuff I have ended up with. If you have what I want, and have something in mind that you want, let me know and I will see if I have it or can get it.

Does anyone have a busted Suntour Cyclone rear derailleur--the version with the non-captive mounting bolt--kicking around? That bolt is all I need, so the donor derailleur can otherwise be folded, spindled, and mutilated (to use some C&V computer lingo).

I have an assortment of trade goods.

Do you have a date range and/or picture? (Velobase page would work too, I suppose.) I have a couple disassembled Cyclone GTs which I intended to someday make into one. I'd be happy to take a look and see if either has what you're looking for.

I believe I have your bolt, if it is the non-GT Cyclone, 1st gen. (GT has a much longer bolt) I was just going through my Suntour project RD box, and I have a couple spare mounting bolts. The one I think will work is 8.5mm total (including head), with the unthreaded shaft 3.8mm. I have one with the caged bolt, but I think this will fit the uncaged variety.

It is the GT model, and the original style, not the later Mk II. The date code is X, which if I remember right translates to 1981. It hadn't occurred to me that the long-cage and short-cage models would use different bolts. The overall length of the bolt (I just checked another non-captive GT, which does have its bolt) is 27 mm, as measured with my cheap non-electronic, non-vernier slide calipers.

ISO, 42T, 110 BCD mid ring for triple. Ideally something 9/10 speed with ramps and pins.

I have a few things... let me know and I can offer up some stuff. I have lots of other chainrings to swap including a 42T outer ring in 110 BCD like new. black

Thanks, she really wants to replace that bike. I have found others but she remains resolved. In regards to your offer, you are probably bigger and stronger, and no doubt younger than I. And besides I don't know where you live.
