ISO: for research and reference for everyone
late 50's - 60's Coureur Sporting Cyclist publications

I know of a fellow who had a pile of them and that I used to enjoy. Its been many, many years since I last visited or heard from, unable to find his phone and no net communication.

If by chance anyone has them, I would be ever grateful to scan all, PDF share and return. Thank you

Long shot, but here goes--

Wanted: partial or complete Huret Jubilee set (RD, FD, clamp-on guide and shifters... or any combo of these). Bonus if RD has the Campy dropout stop plate. Must be in really nice shape.

Have: Equivalent Campy NR set, mint shape.

Basically I'm looking to swap out my Campy NR set for a Jubilee set.

ISO: ratty front derailleur cage ONLY from a vintage Campagnolo Gran Sport.

(I can find plenty of derailleurs and reasonable but can't get past the idea of salvaging just for a cage.)

I need a ratty one as its going to be slightly modified. Used as a chain guide / drop protection only for a 5 speed application - single chain ring. I do have the clamp and will make the adjustable post to support the cage. (the bikes value whole, doesn't even come close to the price sellers are asking for just this original Campagnolo chain guide... nutso $$$$. Any other suggestion is appreciated.)

Wanted: 60s/70s Schwinn 5-speed stem shifter. Single lever. Not concerned about condition , just as long as it's whole.
Shoot me a PM if you've got one lying around and we can figure out details.
Thanks!

ISO: 36h Rear wheel, something like a Shimano 6400/7400 in 36 holes laced to a rim. Or, possibly not laced to a rim if you've got one sitting around. Other era correct cassette wheels considered.
For Trade: 32h Dura Ace 7401 laced 3 cross to a Trek Matrix 2 (I think.) The hub is in nice condition, a couple scars but very shiny and functional, and the rim is in okay condition. The wheel as a whole needs a tension and a true. I have "too much power", as they say. Or just too much weight... pics on request (of the wheel)

Trying to complete a shift group

ISO: Camp- earlier gen Gran Sport rear derailleur - any condition considered. Gouge, scrapes, worn out pulleys are acceptable.

Trade: early Suntour GT long cage honking beast. Great condition, a mild scrape on back side cage, excellent jockey's. Handles big cog's with ease. Depicted without even a servicing. This one is nice. Have other stuff too or whatever it takes to make a trade, just ask. Thank you!

(ALSO, if needed, I have a period correct Suntour hangar claw. I'll look but might even have a silver spring cover as well.)

EDIT: Added to the above-
circa 1978
SR Forged stem 100mm x 22.2mm diam. Clean, choice expander wedge and bolt.
SR reversible seat post, fluted 26.2mm diam. Permits full tilt and when reversed, allows for a more forward offset - big gear in the saddle or vintage triathlete w/aero bar

Would you trust having the crack welded if I cannot locate a used replacement part?

Thanks for your help.
Check with Frank The Welder | Frank Wadelton ? Bicycle Fabrication ... I'd be surprised if he couldn't repair it. He's the Frank Lloyd Wright of aluminum MTBs.

For Trade:

Brooks B17 Narrow brown, used shows some bumps an scrapes and a bit hard, could use some proofide and miles on it to get it in shape, bought it for a project then gave the frame away, looks like someone has drilled it for lacing

Sunrace 2x9 Brifters, nearly new, bought for a dropbar MTB conversion, took a couple rides and found I'm not a fan of dropbars on an MTB

Origin 8 Gary bars 31.8 clamp 610mm wide, light scratching at clamp

ISO
A decent saddle in black for a commuter
anything interesting since I don't need the saddle or brifters anymore they'd be better off going to someone who can use them

Wanted your unwanted about to be tossed in the trash useless single pivot side pull "sucicide brakes"!!!!!

OK now that I have your attention, I am rebuilding the Vento and I am trying to install some fenders on it. However they will not fit my beloved Chorus Monoplanor brakes.... so

I am looking for something like upperend Dia Compe or Suntour, Victory/Triomphe, maybe a older 600 like the EX series? I need room in the arch for a 45mm fender. The Suntour Alpha 5000 {a relabeled DC 400 I believe) calipers I have now seem to fit but I are missing the cable anchor hardware. Recessed is fine but I do have some of those quirky Rivendell adaptors so the even more useless nutted variety may work out too.

what do I have... I'll find something if the brakes are nice enough perhaps trade for some Mirage level Monoplanor style calipers.

Thanks

I have a set of the ultra narrow rail track versions with campagnolo embossed on them.... but that is helpful to just about no one.

ISO Triple Drivetrain components:

- Triple crankset, preferably silver, compatible with 9-speed drivetrain. Ideal setup would be a Sugino crank with 26-34-50 or 24-36-48 gearing, but could get by with a Shimano crank and 30-39-50 gearing.
- Triple or long-cage Shimano 9 or 10-speed rear derailleur compatible with triple crankset as described.
- English threaded bottom bracket compatible with triple crankset as described.

Have to trade:

- Lepper Voyager leather saddle, in need of some repairs to the metal framework attaching to the nose of saddle.
- Look road pedals with used red cleats.
- Ritchey Comp 12 cm threadless stem with 26.0 clamp and slight rise (5-10% range)
- Shimano BR-R550 cantilever brakes, front and rear with pads and hangers
- 2 Campagnolo matching water bottles, white with blue Campy logo, some scuffing but not extreme
- Pearl Izumi Gavia winter jacket, neon yellow, size XL. Very warm but I lost weight and it's too big for me now.
- Craft rain jacket, neon yellow, size XL, with mesh lining. Very warm and water resistant but it's too big for me now.
