I have stuff to trade, tell me what you need.
That is an 8 speed series shifter, you won't find it in 7s but the good news is you can use an 8s with 7speed cassette.

Hi Marty, USAZorro has steered me in the direction of this trade thread. I'm after a few bits & pieces and was wondering how I go about posting? Cheers, Matthew

Welcome to C&V! You mention what you are looking for with ISO (In Search Of) prefix, and list what you could trade or have available. Note, this thread is not for buying/selling so don't mention money. It's for swapping parts.

Cheers!

I've looked at the SRAM/Shimano cassettes and they have weird ratios at the low end - like megarange freewheels. The last two jumps are over 23%!! Sunrace cassettes are fairly even around 15% jumps. Unfortunately their spacing is odd, but that's a topic for another thread...

Right now I'm riding an 11-30 and enjoying it. I'd have to go to 34 to get an appreciable gain, but thanks for the offer of the 11-32.

I finally had to unsubscribe from that thread because it nearly drove me insane watching all these bikes on distant CL's that I could never buy. Every once in a while I pop in for a little bike porn, but that's it. The Paramount is very worthy of that thread... and my size... ugh.

My mistake, I need a proofreader. The bike has a replacement Shimano 7 speed shifter on it. I'm looking for a Deore 8 speed.

I have a '88 Schwinn Premis with the white Suntour Cyclone group set. I'm considering trying to trade the white set for a non-white group set of comparable quality. If anyone would be interested please let me know!

Ah! I may indeed! In fact, I'm almost sure I do. But you'll have to wait until I get home this evening for me to be sure. And then hope that my sweetie doesn't have too many other things for me to do.

EDIT: CHAINRING ACQUIRED! Still searching, I know someone is sitting on a pile of such chainrings.

Also ISO: 9-speed cassette with 28 or 30 in the rear and lots of life left. Going on an Ultegra bike, so something comparable quality is ideal.

I cracked a rim last week. I'm looking for a Mavic MA40 36 hole, preferably with a green/yellow tag and in very good condition(minimal brake track wear).

I have a 32 hole ma40 to trade or some other stuff

ISO: Early SCOTT Drop In bars (G. LeMond)

No urgency and just gathering parts for a future project / tribute build. Narrow width. Will consider any condition.

ISO: Campy 50T 135 BCD chainring, classic silver alloy color

I'm building up a bike for my wife, and have a 52/40/30 Racing T triple. She'd be happier with the outer ring being a 50T.

Trade stocks: The 52T Campy ring. Also, a lot of Suntour bits: numerous 6 & 7 speed freewheels, 8 speed cassettes, a 42T ring, and more. Let me know what you're looking for.
