Nice. Parts from your Nishiki would bolt nicely to it. Then next month to the sweet little Cinelli Super Corsa you find.

Daccordi's are, in my mind, one of the most underrated, unheralded stars of the Italian steel era. I took a flyer on my 1990 50th anniversary based on the looks alone and all I can say is I love it. It's just a beautiful frame in every sense of the word.

He doesn't have to, I'm calling you fickle.

That said, I'd behave in a very similar manner given alike circumstances

I am afraid I am going to have to pass on the frame for now, if he still has it after the holidays then I will consider it more. I just can't see buying me a present and forgetting to get my kids something. I would have a mutiny on my hands.

I let the guy know that if he still has it after the holidays then I would probably do something with it.

I am sad that I have to not get it but that is the life of a salesperson, when the market is down then personal items get thrown to the back burner. In the mean time I will continue to love my nishiki.

Just a hair too big for me, though.

Tempting as it may be!

oh but I am ssssooooo tempted to have him hold it like he has offered to do. He said that it found me so he would be willing to hold it. I asked if he could hold it until after the holidays? I will see if he is willing to do that. So I may not have to pass on the frame, just delayed gratification.

If you can spare the loot and still make christmas work, tell him to hold it dude. That's rare in today's market.

Sounds like he wants you to have it. I bet a little earnest money would seal it.

OK, let's see a show of hands...how many people here will be buying themselves a bike-related present this holiday season?
