Bicycle Repair Man !!!
It was a little small for anyone in our house but my 10 year old great nephew was ready to upsize... I was given this mid nineties Norco Jammer and delivered it to him today after making sure this little used bike was running like a top.
We stashed it and gave him some map coordinates (he is into geocaching) and his mind was blown... he needed a good bike so he can roll with his dad and I on the trails.

My CL pickings for the day, $135 for the pair, bought both from the same guy this morning:
Rather plebian but pristine Raleigh USA Olympian, 555sl tubing which I'm guessing the first step up from Hi-Ten; it's not real light. I already have a customer who wants this one once I check and repack all the bearings:
It has a groovy integrated flickstand/cablestop on teh downtube, which I've never seen before:
But the one I was actually interested in is this just-my-size 1981 (I think? Can anyone verify that for me?) Motobecane Jubile Sport, in almost as nice shape as the Raleigh and much lighter at 24lbs, once I lifted the toe clips, luggage and Zefal HP pump that came with it. It's my first taste of Vitus (888) tubing and I'm hungry for more! Hopefully the gale currently blowing through town will die down tomorrow and I can take this French thing on a proper jaunt in the countryside.

Just a few interesting parts I pulled off a dumper bike.
The Shimano Shift levers are known as well as the Hunt Wilde bar ends. The brake levers are unknown, alloy bodies with steel handles. The stem is alloy from Japan with WIN marked on it sized .833.
Not much compared to other hauls but I see these filling a place in a few project's down the road.

Friends were going to toss a 1994 Rockhopper Sport. It was in a box, disassembled. Picked it up this morning and put it together this afternoon. Needs a thorough cleaning, a little shifter work and a plug for the right bar end, but it's completely sound and rides great. Too small for me -- I may try mounting 24" wheels on it and giving it to my godson.
(And now I see I goofed up the rear derailleur cable routing. Ah, well. It can wait.)

i was just given a bike from my fathers friend,i dont know the manufacturer of the frame but it does have campagnolo pedals and a campagnolo crankset.just a little rust on the fork, but i rode it and its killer. if anyone can help me identify the maker of the frame id appreciate it

Picked this up the other day for cheap at an early garage sale, '73 Schwinn Super Sport:
Shame that Schwinn put an ungodly heavy one piece crank and a braze for a kickstand on these. The filet brazed frame is actually pretty nice... This appeared to be well loved at one point and then set aside, bar ends and a 1st Gen Shimano Crane rear der added by original owner. Cleaned up (not touched up yet), tuned, and lubed; just waiting for tires to come in and it's going to a buddy of mine.

So not saved from the dump, but picked up off of CL for a song.
I will need ya'lls help on figuring out more of about the bike from M M Cycles (apparently MKM cycles is the same?). Photos without further ado...

That is a great catch! What type of saddle is it? I'd pop some chrome fenders on that bike and ride it all day long, nice.

Nice catch! Have you looked around the catalogs here?
At some point the Blue Line RD was swapped for a Vx (which is ok, since I have both long and short cage BLs in my parts bin) and the cool stitched leather bar wrap was replaced by crappy black foam (which is not OK )

Thanks for the link; I have bookmarked it for future use. Looks like mine is very likely an '82, (not '81) based on the saddle and "gunmetal grey" color choice mentioned in '82.

I picked up this Italian from the original owner, she said it was custom made for her when she lived in Italy. Some Campy ITM, 3ttt, Miche, Nisi, and Ofmega parts.

I saved her from the dumpster 7 years ago, crashed her in 2012 and she has been semi retired until today as I built her back up this morning... she is still one of my best catches and favourite bikes of all time.

So I went to pick up this Marin Pine Mountain(a mash of Sora rear XT front, full touring bars, a disc fork, and a quirky Tioga seat) frame below,
started to talk to the guy and he sees my bicycle related t shirt and says "You look as though you are pretty into bikes?" I said "You bet", he went on to tell me about his surgery, I then talked about mine, then he says "Are you keen to look at the other frame I have left over from my commuting days? I said "Sure, I have no more money though" he says "I was going to list it but I think after meeting you that I would like to give it to you" "Great" I said, thinking I could take it to the Co Op if it did not suit, and it was this,
!!!??? "Great, Thanks" I said, only needs a hairline crack repaired. I want to run Rockshox XC TK 28's or XC TK 30's
The only thing I am unsure of is what headset to run?

One of the guys I work with does a little scrapping to make a couple extra bucks. He saved this from becoming scrap metal and gave it to me last week. It's a Schwinn Hollywood. Not sure of the year but I am guessing late 60's. Tires are shot and its got patina. I soaked the chain and everything that supposed to move with WD40 just to free everything up. Got the chain free but the rear hub just spins.
I was thinking of putting on some 26x2.125 white walls and using it to ride to the convenience store up the street it just the way it is.

Actually I saw this posted on CL, 36 minutes after it was posted I was loading it into my truck. I paid the full asking price $20.
A Schwinn Continental. I enjoy wrenching on the old bicycles during the cold Midwestern cycling off season. First I will make it safe to ride and enjoy it a bit this summer. I know nothing about it yet. I am not even sure of it's color... its sort of redish.
Edit: Just did a search on the SN and discovered the bike is a: 1975 Schwinn Continental, finish/color is chestnut.

It has the Vitus 888 frame/fork with Suntour VX group and Normandy hubs. It looks to be all original including the bar pads. I'm reading pretty good stuff about these. It looks to just need a clean, tune and tires and it's ready to go. The seller said he had several people calling about it today, so I hope I didn't spoil anybody's day on here.
