Another $50 Marinoni?

I went to look at another $50 Marinoni ( https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ht=marinoni+50 ) yesterday. 58cm which is a bit tight for me but the bizzare thing is it has the same paint scheme as my bike only the head tube is blue.
Its a Special like my 1st but the grouppo is not Campy or Ofmega or anything Italian.
The bike has mostly Shimano Dura Ace with an unidentified seat post and a turbo saddle.
Did Shimano make an Italian threaded BB? I think this Marinoni may have been cobbled together somewhere in its life.
I realize this thread is worthless without pics but if I drag this Special home I will post them.

If you plan to part with it, do let me know. I regret selling my Special, even though it was quite profitable. For what it is worth, mine was from 1987 and also had a full Dura Ace group and the BB was Italian. Shipping would be a breeze since I am in Ontario

You'd better buy it. Nothin' worse than that feeling of regret that you'll definitely have a week from now if you don't.

Chuck, have you considered parting with that one in the pic?
