Question about offering trades in the forum

The Read Me sticky states,

"Lately we have seen more than a few sales types of postings
in the Classic & Vintage forum.
While we are a bit more forgiving when it comes to trades, barter,
request for (or notices of) PMs (or sent) there is a limit."

What does "...we are a bit more forgiving when it comes to trades, barter...." mean exactly? I have a few (ordinary) things I want to trade but I want to go about it in the proper manner. Can someone clarify the policy? Thanks

Chris

The members who have contributed to the maintenance of the website, etc., have been given the right to participate in the "For Sale" thread. The C&V participants have wheedled a Sticky that can be used to make useful trades among the participants for vintage bike parts. No money, though. You can't post a separate thread for trade items, you can't offer items for sale.

You can post in the "ISO/WTB and For Trade thread parts 2 and 3. " stickie at the top of this forum, though.

Oh, and there are several C&V kinda people in this group from Dallas, including yer forum meister.
