Bianchi Sport SX

I don't normally do this, but I was so proud of my most recent build that I had to share. I picked up a Bianchi Sport SX off CL for a very good price. I then put on some parts I have been collecting to make it my daily rider. It rides extremely nice. Here's the stats:

Japanchi Sport SX made with double butted Ishiwata tubing

Shimano 600 triple crank

XT rear derailleur

105 front derailleur

XTR headset

XT hubs / CR18 rims / DT Swiss spokes / 700x28 Bontrager Special K's

Flight Deck STI shifters

Salsa brake disrupters

Ritchey ergo bars

Vetta Italia saddle

Egg Beaters

i have been working on a bianchi sport sx also. love the ride of the frame. i ended up with a ix of shimano 600 and 105 from the late 80s, a odrn isis truvative crank and a nitto noodle/dynamic bar and stem. tried a compact crank on it, but the gearing was actually too low with the 14-28 freewheel.

my rear wheel is a campy hub and matrix iso rim, front is the original sansin/araya.

the bike originally had a suntour alpha 5000 group. but shimano 600 brakes and levers.

what was the spec on yours. also my tubing was tange 900. i think its an 87 or 88

thanks for the comments! the gearing is unusual, 50-42-28. I've never seen that but maybe it's what they used to do?
