Guido Messina road bike. Any info about it or its value?

My wife has a Guido Messina 54cm bike from the late 80s. I know it was painted in Iowa City by Tom Teesdale cycles. It has Mavic A40 rims and Campy parts (not SR) except for the brakes, which are Modolo Speedy. That's about all the more I know about it. It's in great shape, so I'm wondering if it's worth holding on to (she never rides it--she has a Trek Navigator 500 and much prefers the ride of a comfort bike). Thanks for any information you may have.
