PBK Deal Alert - new Mavic Aksium Campy Wheel Set, ~$135 delivered

    http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=W1034

Don't know if you folks care about smoking deals on modern stuff, but there are 3 Campagnolo sets left. $114, minus 5% coupon (USARBR), plus $30 for delivery. I just bought a set for my wife's Trek.

I am beginning to think that PBK's business model is to employ pirates to hijack ships transporting bike products, steal the cargo, and sell it on their website. This could explain both their low prices and the randomness of what they have in stock.

    Lately, from PBK:
Campy Khamsin G3 wheel set, $117 w/skewers, $250 stateside. They had the Vento G3's for $177
Rear wheel bike stand $9, about 1/2 price
Conti tubes $5 and you know what LBS's are charging for decent tubes.
Shipping for all was $30, and no tax.

    Another order, free shipping.
Descente tri-suit $33, generally 140-160 here. My wife says I need to lose weight to wear it.
Campy lock ring $13, couldn't find even a used one for $20 here
Michelin Speedium tires $12.50 ea, figure 1/2 price
Shimano HG-50 8-sp cassette $15, still less than here, especially shipped free.
Complete STI shifter/brake cable/housing sets $9 in grey. $30 here

They have the Mavic's on sale right now, and I think a local LBS is actually buying them and reselling 'em. He was mounting a set of Kysirium the other day, $850, and I think he bought them from PBK for $459.

You have to look around on their site, but they seem to always have some steals/deals.

The Khamsin's are now $105, and the Vento's $158. But the Khamsin's are sold out.
