Merckx 7-11 Photos

I had mentioned in some long buried thread that I would post pictures of my friend's Merckx 7-11 when he got to AZ. Well he's here, and so here are a couple of pictures. He has requested a Tasering if he ever talks about selling it.

It is drop dead gorgeous.

That is STUNNING.

No wonder he says you should taser him if he talks about selling.

Team edition. I will be riding with him some more, and will be glad to take better pictures if anyone is interested.

Can I request that you not tazer him, but rather place a discrete call to me instead if he ever speaks of selling it? Appears to be my size after all.

Yours is just a little different with the painted chain stays and seat stays. Is it different years or different frame materials?

It helps have a half dozen bikes to rotate through. But a solution of dish soap, or dilute Simple Green and some light scrubbing has worked for me.

Corsa = SL, chrome right chainstay and dropouts
Corsa Extra = SLX, chrome triangle and fork, internal top tube cable
Team 7-Eleven = Corsa Extra but with TSX - and much coveted decal!

Rode mine today in the soup:

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm not sure I've ever seen a TSX 7-11.

I rode with him today, I rode my Faema Professional

Old Fat GUy- Your Merckx is awesome! Though mine is not in the 7/11 colors, it's close. I can't wait to have time to work on it and have it looking like it's suppose to.

Very nice, indeed!

You should have seen the look on the guy on the carbon Pinarello when I blew by him! My buddy said I took him quite by surprise. He was able to hold my wheel, for awhile
