Here are pics of a 1883-84 that I have since sold. I think it was completely stock except for the aero levers, which I installed. Hope this helps.

I have something I want to give to the owner of a Miyata 1000 to complete a restoration or for someone who has one as part of a collection.

Not quite sure what you are looking for. If you have an 'unbyeable' and somebody has a mint bike then obviously they also have what you have. On the other hand hhhmmm. What year are you talking about? Miyata 1000's as you probably know where made for many years. I have a 1992 1000 LT that i built up from just the frame with mostly original parts as spec'd in the catalog found on the Miyata catalog site. some stuff is newer but it all seems to fit in.

Pay the shipping from Tampa and they're yours:

I have a pair of Miyata radial tires that were ridden no more than 2 times. They need to go to a good home. They're old, lightly dried but still useable. Idealy I'd like them to go to someone who'd keep them for that 'period correct' restoration versus ridding them and wearing them out.

For those not familiar with Miyata's radial tire....simply, the best touring tire ever made. Hands down.

Got a picture of them? Just curiously?

They didn't spec these on the lower end models, did they?

Sheldon said the 1000 and the 610 came with them.

Miamijim. Obviously, I didn't know what you had up your sleeve. Those tires are too good for my boss.

Sadly I tore one of the beads removing them. Oh, well. They were getting replaced regardless as they on a Cannondale SR800 I recently acquired.

Kurt...pics as requested. The radial design allowed for the casing to defllect in a concentrated area which in turn minimzed the amount of impact felt by the ridder. If you were to try my 'wrench test' on a convential tire the deflection area would be much greater.
