Look or Look style pedals for a 98 Mondonico

I'm looking for model information and advice on what kind of Look or Look compatible pedals to put on a 98 Mondonico with Campy Chorus cranks. I would like to keep the bike's components in the period. Unfortunately I wasn't riding at that time and am unfamiliar with what was around. Thanks Woj75

That is probably just after the Look Carbon were the common Look pedal, and probably a bit before the Look PP286/296 pedals were popular. I remember putting a set of Look Carbon red pedals on an 8 speed Chorus bike right at that time. Plenty of Shimano look cleat pedals around then too- in both an Ultegra and Dura Ace configuration. The Ultegra ones were typically white and the DA were silver.

Really you can use whatever modern road pedal you like and it wont detract from the originality of the bike at all. The Look 'keos' would be right at home on your bike as most other road pedals. Lots of nice pedals out there for your bike. I have a classic '91 Tommasini with Chorus cranks I try to keep mostly period correct and I'm using the Look 'delta' style pedals.
