the chainwheel is cool for sure...but the RD is a Huret Allvit...if you think it's cool I bet there's some slicks that'll sell you a box of these for what ever you'll spend...maybe they'd make good bottle cap lifters if they weren't so greasy
The bike doesn't seem anything special but... it sure is clean!

If the Brooks saddle is not included, well then forget it!

At it's introduction circa 1960, the Allvit was a fine derailleur that shifted competitively and could wrap plenty of chain. Its reputation has been sullied by the fact that it was slapped onto so many bike boom Schwinns and outlived it's performance level. The earlier versions tend to fetch pretty decent money from collectors.

It's essentially a Raleigh Sports (offbrand though) with a derailer drivetrain. Might be a Dunelt/Triumph/Robin Hood Racer (yes, that's what they called them).

The paint looks nice, and the chainring is cool, but those lugs are quite graceless, and scream "gaspipe" to me.

Yeah I'll discuss it right now: I was being flippant concerning the venerable Allvit: I admire it from an historical and engineering POV. And as with many such artifacts there's much to be learned from examining one as a "industrial design appreciation" exercise. That early model is an especially worthwhile example and I'm sure a Japanese collector will pay a Royal sum to own it.
But I don't own a single one of those typical "Schwinn Approved" Allvits nor do I want one on any bike I ride. I like the tiny ball bearings in the pulleys, though
