Raleigh Sports from the 60-70's: Seatpost size?

I'm refurbishing a late 60's - early 70's Raleigh Sports city bike and it's missing the saddle/seat. Anyone know the poper seatpost size, off the top of their head?

Thanks.

1966 DL-1 Tourist measures 25.6 mm- basically one inch.

The post is 1 inch, the seat clamp area is 7/8 inch. The steel ones are very cheap to buy.

+1 on 25.4mm or 1" posts. I likely have a steel straight pin one if you need it. PM me if so.

Thank you all very much for your answers and kind offers to send a post my way. I'm goingto try and find a suitable post in the junkbox at the LBS an 10-to-1, it'll be there and it'll cost less than the postage might as well, I'm betting.

Thank you all though for being so kind!
