Schwinn Font found
 

So I'm restoring a Schwinn not to period and perfect and all that, but just so that an old bike is cool again.

Anyway, stumbled upon a font called Airconditioner that looks mighty close to an old Schwinn font and wanted to share. Its not exact, but its pretty close.

I really like that. You send that to Graphicity, they'll make decals for you for about $4.99 each, one color.

FWIW, Schwinn internally referred to that font as the "'spaghetti'-style font"...

Google and you will find it all over. There may be an example in my own thread in ABC...

It's really not hard to photoshop it, it's not complex and it you condense it vertically the second example is almost a stretched version. Getting a font creator is a neat thing and Photoshop indispensible.

OH! You're in Portland! There's an eBayer in your area who has all those things and more...I suggest you search for him, not hitting me right now.
