A Good Source for SA Oil Nipples

I, and others, have inquired in the past about where to get the oil caps for Strumey-Archer 3-speed Hubs. I just received a half-dozen of them in the mail, and since I got great service on a tiny order I thought I would pass on the source to other readers here.

Recently I tried to order some oil caps from Harris Cyclry, but their website would not accept my CC. I then emailed them and never got a reply at all. That made me wonder what shipping from England would be. After inquiring, I ordered them from Old Bike Trader in Kent. The six, with postage, cost the same as one would have from Harris, so I want to thank Harris for ignoring me. I can recommend Derek at Old Bike Trader whole heartedly, he shipped very quickly, I sent him the order a week ago and received them today, air mail both ways. A satisfactory and painless transaction. I will not hesitate to order from him again.

For inquiring minds, the Brits call these "Oil Nipples", we usually call them "Oil Caps", apparently the correct name is "Oil Hole Cover". I chose the drive in type as the screw in ones have always given me fits. A couple of taps and it is in there to stay.

Thanks for the tip!
I've always disliked ordering from Harris.
It seems like I'm not the only one.

I ordered some SA bits from Derek over the weekend, and he was extremely helpful about answering my questions promptly (though it was the weekend!). Kudos to https://oldbiketrader.co.uk/!
