just bought these 2 from the same guy on craigs list. the giordana is set up with 7 speed sis DA dt shifters and RD, everything else is campy. could you guys help me id exactly which series of campy they are? i may take the mavic bullhorns off and mount traditional drops and a spoked rear wheel and ride this around as a normal bike. no problem using an older tri color 600 hub with a spacer on a 7 speed cassette right?

and the cunnane, i cant find a lick of info on this thing. chromo taiwan frame. no name brakes, hubs, rims. flip flop. anyone?

looks like a Dura Ace 7400 rear deraileur with Campagnolo Athena on the Giordana. Nice bike by the way. How much did you get it for?

Nice bikes! The TT bike's rear wheel swap shouldn't require any spacer. 600/Ultegra cassette spacing is same as Dura Ace. Both are 7 spd. The shifters and RD of Dura Ace aren't compatible with the rest of the Shimano lines.
BTW, get rid of the unsafe Modolo stem. They snap unexpectedly without warning at the binder.

my 600 wheel is an 8/9/10 hub. id need a casette spacer i mean? not a hub spacer. good to know about the death stem. shame, its pretty.

I probably wouldn;t change out the bullhorns for drops since drops will probably put you down too low. I would either just leave it without the aero bars or get a less agressive set of bullhorns

a little research sounds like its all chorus stuff. whats the max cog size on a 7400 series rd? shimano states 26, any wiggle room?

then, 4.5mm spacer for your 600 freehub w/ a 7spd cassette. Yeah, shame about the Modolos, I personally like their shape too.

As an earlier poster stated it looks like Athena, the brake calipers certainly are and the brake levers would be the same for either so they are whatever you want them to be. The front derailleur and cranks are both the same as first generation chorus, but the fact of the matter is that Athena later inherited these parts from the Chorus group so they can sort of be whatever you want them to be also.

Those upside-down drop levers look rather silly on bullhorns. They make proper reverse levers for that application, you should see if you can pick some up.

Also, why is there a back brake on a fixed-gear?

its a flip flop wheel, right now its set to the freewheel cog. its how they rolled out of the factory, as far as i know.

Athena or Chorus. They shared quite a few parts.

As mentioned above, I'd leave the bars as is...just change out the brake levers for something less bulky.

I'd also try and get a Chorus/Athena derailleur & shifters.
