Oh man oh man. If that frame were to pop up in a few months when my liquid assets were in order, well...

It's s70rguy's auction. Damn, that would complete my set of Gazelle road frames. A-Frame in blue, AB-Frame in white (w/ blue), and an AA-Frame in Red. And worst of all, it's my size.

Someone else hit that BIN button before I do!

Come on Jon. You can do it. It's the last bike you'll ever need to buy. Until the next one.

The last time I checked his wooljersey album he had gorgeous photos of four of them in a row that had me slobbering all over myself.

Already have my eyes and plans set for a custom built steel, maybe a Kirk next year. The plan was to move the parts currently on my AB-Frame over to the custom when it gets done and then rebuilt the AB-Frame back into a Super Record build, but this AA would look quite fitting with a S. Record group as well...

He does a great job as photographing everything. Which are very much slobber worthy. And his packing job is top notch as well.

I recently made a deposit on a custom frame with about a year's lead time - does amazing things for your ebay discipline.

I'd have purchased it if the top tube was a little longer.

I can't speak highly enough about the seller. He was instrumental in my getting my
Zieleman, RIH, Remy and de Reus, basically my entire dutch collection.
If you do buy from him, expect a well packed frame and quick delivery time.

Marty

The price for the frame alone is a great buy I thought, then add the headset and shifters and an ASSOS pump, I bet the pump is worth $50 ALONE. it's a great buy and far less than I paid for my AA frame without all the bonus goodies and the colour is georgeous. My frame is the same year and only differs in the fork crown. Someone said mine has the "beefy" crown but I like to look of the one on this bike better.

Oswald is actually listed in the KOF section on the CR site - which isn't surprising since he learned to build in large part from Dale Brown while working at Dale's shop.

sorry, end of non-Netherlandish digression ...

Well, if you bought it, it would be the nicest riding vintage bike you own. Probably.

Item number 170310915148 came up at the bottom of the screen while scoping that one.

Somedays it hurts to be Dutch-American and ride a 61.

Here's some background info and other stuff for riva:

http://www.fivenineclimber.com/bikes...elle_pages.htm

And this is the one SteakKnifeSally refers to:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1

which is nice, with a factory repaint, but newer decal set. It is also an A-Frame, for better or worse. Just this morning my wife bought the other A-Frame this seller had on auction.
