Disc Brakes anyone?:)

Hi guys, I dont know if this is the right section for this post, but here it goes anyway:
Just came across a cl add for a bikes and parts $5 localy here in indy, so I decided to follow through with it. To make a long story short I went to see what kinds of bikes or parts being offered for $5.
There they were 2 lady bikes one was red schwinn spint in a very good condition not even a rust on it, had suntour components on it, and the other one was
"10speed Racer" JC Penney bike" go figure so I looked at the bike it had an ancient shimano disc brakes on it, I ended up buying both bikes for $5, just to have some parts for future bikes or something else
I just wanted to post this for everyone to see and comment, I thought it was cool.
He also gave me 2 sets of 27" wheels 2front and back with tires and tubes and they all hold air, did I make a good deal?

I think I am going to take the handlebars, wheels, fork for trueing stand, and bb off and trash the rest.
Unless I can make something out of that frame, but I doubt it.
