schwinn le tour

anyone know what year it is, any other info would be helpful. thanks. hope the pitchers loaded.

Looks like an '86. There should be some small numbers on the headbadge that will indicate the date for sure. Nice overall ride in my opinion. Looks like it is cleaning up nicely.

you mean where the forks are ? i see nothing there.only thing i see is under crank, G838333 and a 840, thats all i see. thanks

No on the Headbadge (the schwinn logo) on the front of the bike. They are small and hard to see.

I believe the "8" after the "G" equates to 1988, and the G = Giant. Was it built in Taiwan?

"3447" would mean it was built on the 344th day in 1987, and that's about Dec 23, 1987, thus a 1988 model.

You are right pastor Bob. The 86 had white logos on the fork also, this bike has black. I believe that the head badge means it was made on the 344th day of 1987. Which would make since that it is an 88 model.
