Fuji Cambridge Men's Road Bike. 2009 only 56 miles on it! Color: White and Black. Features: ajustable seat post, removable front tire, pedometer, side mirror, bell, and custom rack. Height: 39in from ground to seat level. Brand new condition! Please call 260-436-8098.

What is sort of tricky about this ad is that if you look up 2009 Fuji Cambridge, they had shifted away from hybrid/comfort and made that label a lugged-steel commuter bike. Which was like $1200.

I mean nobody's going to pay $900 for that POS advertised above but it is some seriously shady advertising...particularly if you don't have a critical Google-eye and you are lead to believe you're getting in effect a 30% off the MSRP (which of course is still not great).

Someone tell me if I could get anywhere near that kind of money. I have an old English 3-speed in very good condition. I'm planning on shining it up and selling it. I live near NYC and I'm willing to list it as in NYC and bringing it in for people to see it, if it's possible to get even $250 or more.
There's a guy in Boise who couldn't give away a Rollfast English 3-speed if he threw in an escort and a stack of twenties, but then I don't think anybody likes him. Oh well.

* * * UNIQUE PATRIOTIC BIKE * * * KC - $259
ONE OF A KIND UNIQUE VINTAGE PATRIOTIC BIKE. . . . Dare to be different. Impress your friends. Show them you are still a Patriot despite what is happening to our country. Ride a bike & reduce your gas consumption. Stop giving your money to foreign countries looking to harm us.
This vintage has been carefully restored/rebuilt and in excellent condition. It began life in Allentown PA. as a Ross Eurotour. It is a 26” mens 5 speed with a patriotic paint job. This bike gets plenty of attention.
The seat tube measures 20 -3/4” from the center of the crank to the top of tube.
A cross section of the chrome fenders reveal a raised formed stepped arrangement as opposed to just a single stamped arch as seen on Schwinn bikes of that era.
The original Shimano Tourney hand brake actuators with Shimano pads operate properly and the wheels run true. New tires and tubes - 26 x 1-3/8” The rims are Van Schothorst 590 (Holland). The aluminum rear package tray was made by Pletscher (Switzerland) and has a spring loaded hold down which lays flat when not in use.
The Cloud 9 seat (also known as the couch) is extremely comfortable.
Speedometer is a NOS (new old stock) Stewart Warner Cadet
The most amazing and unique feature of this bike is it’s ability to shift gears while coasting!
This bike incorporates a unique Shimano freewheel arrangement –The ratcheting freewheel mechanism is located in the pedal crank set, not in the rear wheel. The chain and rear sprockets are in motion whenever the rear wheel is turning. This allows you to shift gears while coasting. Pedal movement is not necessary. The stem mounted shifter is spring loaded and shifting is smooth and effortless. Contact KC 386-873-4496

If the trim lines are fat and shaky, do you still call them "pinstripes?"

Restored 1965 fixie - $325 (Delray Beach)

This is a 1965 Murray Monaco. I dismantled it and repainted it, an had some custom wheels built for it (the most valuable part). It's not really the right size for me, so I want to sell it at cost, which is about $325

All too common there's this guy around my area (kelowna) who lists CCM and Supercycles for over $200. They are fixed up, but when you can go to Canadian Tire and buy a brand new Aluminum Schwinn 700c hybrid for $190 CND the price is just out to lunch.

Raleigh road bike in decent condition, could use some work, the front shifter doesnt work, luckily the back does allowing you to shift between 5 gears.
