Apparently anything "pre-war" is automatically gold. $285 for a rear rack.

I have never seen one of those racks nickel plated, and I imagine it was a lot of money involved in doing so. And yep, for truly vintage/antique bikes, the parts are like gold.,,,,BD

It looks to me that the fork is just turned around in the picture, not like it was ridden like that way. It does appear to have "DUI Bars" though.

Although likely still overpriced at $350, the seller has removed the $3000 B.S.

I have two bikes for Sale, I HATE having to get rid of them but i lost my Job and barely able to eat and pay bills.
Both bikes are in GREAT condition, with a few light scratches. They are kept inside so no rust. The crusier is bad ass and has Wood fenders.
e mail me with ant Q=A's THANKS

I am asking 600 for the race bike and 500 for cruiser.

That so happens to be the '78 Guerciotti Gran Sport that I sold off as a "fixie-only" frame a long time ago. The one with the upside-down derailer cable braze-on.

I am selling a bike, it is at my house, I spray painted it blue
I do not have a camera so I drew a picture of it,.. it's pretty much the best drawing I've ever done.
it looks exactly like this, except with only one chain and no fenders or front light and it needs a seat
price not negotiable
please call me on my phone at my house where the bike is if you want it

Can't believe this clown is trying to sell a bike that has been in a really bad frontal collision. Just angers me so much that there are people out there who would do anything to make a buck.

It's aggravating all right, but those fender stays made me laugh! And it's a Dee-lite, gotta love that! Groove is in the heart, aaahh ah...

Santini 10-speed racing bicycle - never ridden - $720 (Toronto)

Date: 2010-07-25, 7:46PM EDT
Reply to: sale-yzs83-1862935579@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Santini GIRO CX limited production hand-made bicycle - all original, never ridden. 21" frame (for shorter stature riders) Infinity CR-MO tapered, double-butted tubing with very nice lug work. Shimano BioPace crank, Shimano Sport LX derailleurs with click-shift levers, Exige racing side-pull brakes, chrome forks, Miele aluminum rims with sealed bearing low-flange hubs, Miele aluminum bars with 'hidden' brake cables, alloy seat post.

This marque has not been in production since 1998, this is your chance to own a zero-miles classic superlight racer.

This bike is freshly tuned up and ready to go.

$720

call 416 536-8505, ask for Jacquie

Overpriced much? My goodness. It looks pretty clear to me that this bike has been ridden as well. Take a look at the chain smack. If anyone actually pays that money they need to give their head a shake!

"Motobecane Grand Tutile" $325

Even if the price was not so high, even if the bike didn't look rusty and beat up, even if it weren't a jumbo size, he would still have trouble selling a bike called a 'Grand Tutile.'

It is of course a Grand Jubilee, which a moment of looking, thinking, or if that was not feasible, googling, would have resolved.

OTOH proper respect to him for spelling 'Motobecane' correctly.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-56cm-TREK...#ht_554wt_1139

one of those lugged early 90s trek frames with mostly 600 and DT shifters for $810 + 70 shipping - thats almost $900! maybe i've been underestimating the value of these bikes!
