Is it a bike or art? Since it's $800, it must be art.

https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/bik/2405387496.html

Truly one of a kind Custom painted Fixie/Road bike - $800 (historic kenwood)

This is truly a one of a kind bike. It's a vintage 53cm road bike I don't remember the make of the bike as it has been a long time sitting in my garage, my plan was to turn it into a fixie but with baby on the way things have changed. The entire bike has been covered in my old comic books I spent many a hours cutting out each piece and gluing it on and then I covered it with clear lacquer to protect it. The bike comes with almost everything to ride, nice drop bars off of a late 70's Peugeot and brand new tires. I'm asking 800.00 any questions feel free to e-mail me I will answer everyone's questions

50,000$ eh?

This is a rare BCA New Yoker.
This bike was bought for me when I was young at the time I rode BMX and wasn't interested in it and only rode it 2 times it has been in the garage ever since. Very Rare Bicycle By BCA The New Yorker

This is a rare find, the bike was made by:
Bicycle Corp of America - No longer in business
Try and Google very rare BCA New Yorker and see what you come up with.
I have only found one other of these and have contacted the person at the above web address we have the only 2 that we know to exist. If you have questions or information on this bike I would love to hear from you.
Please serious inquires only thanks for looking I will consider serious offers.

Here is where that guy got that price from.

https://rockford.ebayclassifieds.com/...er/?ad=9607337
My guess is...(and im taking a stab in the dark here, LOL), is that NEITHER jackass got a fraction near that price for either, when they sold them? Unless greg lemond himself rode it(and signed it, and they had pics of him doing so for both, I m not buying anything like that), I'd say pass.

No no, you have it all wrong my friend. To him, it's worth a fortune...someone out there must want his bike for that amount of $$$ right? then, when no one buys it at that price, he'll be scratching his head, and telling everyone within shouting distance that he cant figure out why someone hasn't bought his bike? He's one of those who'll pass on amny offers, until he gets exactly that amount. 6 months or so will go by, with no buyers, he'll end up selling it to someone for almost nothing. he's one of those "if it's old, it's worth a fortune....." folks

OMG!!! I can't believe this idiot! at first $300 for a " Bianchi Vintage lugged complete bike 56cm" ok I give him credit for not selling half a bike OK?

I open the listing and see an OK looking Bianchi maybe a Alloro level something but it looks fairly clean. then I start looking at the pics and something pops up that looks a bit odd. don't scroll through too fast

ever see an older Bianchi with Reynolds?

take a good look what do you see?

who knows why someone thought it would be a good idea to put Reynolds decals on it but they should have removed the Columbus Tre Tubi decal forst!!

28-May-11 Price $50.00 Address

My Dad likes to fix things up and so he "created" this one-of-kind bike. It works (although front end is wobbly) and is definately different. If you are interested, please e-mail me and we'll set up an appointment for you to check out these wheels. If this ad is up, the bike is still available. Thanks

Ever wonder what the swiss military were up to in 1944? Making extremely expensive bikes, it seems! On the same site, that money would get you a pair of vintage rides -- De Rosa and Colnago, both super record -- and leave you with around €300 change. But then, they don't have panniers, so ...

I think those were for the Allied Aircrews who 'had to ditch' in Switzerland during the war, thereby being forced to sit out the rest of thew war.

Niagara sometimes has some issues with their web prices but not as bad as BikeWorldUSA. You really have to watch what you order because the quantities of things listed as coming in the packages on the website (via Amazon at least) don't line up with what you get.
