I think the asking price is a bit ambitious for this one. I believe it to be a modded 87 SR400.

Cannondale Bicycle - $1500 (Kalamazoo)

We've all heard of muscle cars... so get ready for the muscle bike! This thing is just going to blow you away.

Gotta admit kind of cute and probably worth every penny what they're asking...

1970 MONTGOMERY WARD MUSCLE BIKE WITH 3 SPEED - $50 (St.louis, mo)

Apart from the color (and that these should be in the motorcycling section,) that's a pretty good deal.

Not sure of the price. The welds definitely does not look like its worth $900.

But, its CL... so it might be legit.

Rare Hyper Cycle, near new front tire and well used rear tire. 10 speed and brakes work well.
According to this page, the Hypercycle was designed by Jack Baker and when released in 1979 was "the first Short Wheel Base recumbent and predecessor to S&B Recumbents."

Ok, maybe I'm picky but, this doesn't look road-worthy:

http://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3812243216.html

[h=2]Spinergy REV - $130 (Cheney)[/h]

Spinergy REV
Front wheel // Carbon Fiber // Clincher
Bought a new road bike and this one doesn't match my back tire.
Very well taken care of and pretty darn true! http://youtu.be/oPAQ9BkLl1M
There is a small piece missing from the rim but it doesn't effect performance or breaking.
Shoot me a text if interested 509-990-seven three eight six.

That bad rim spot certainly doesn't affect braking... because there's no need to use the brakes. Every time that spot hits the ground and the tire buckles... the rider does a nice flip over the handlebars resulting in an abrupt and effective stop. No brakes required!

It is a setting on cell phone cameras. You're supposed to turn in it off when you aren't taking pictures of yourself in the bathroom mirror.

Guys, don't be too hard on this person, what they said in the ad is completely true. The small piece missing will in fact not affect "breaking". The rim will completely break in short order .

Had to post this as this person just re-listed it.

Top of the line 90's trek road bike reduced the the appearance of a department store ten speed with foam grips and some of the worst cable routing I've ever seen. Note the enigmatic stem. Someone needs to rescue this bike.

[h=2] TREK 5500 OCLV Road Bike w/Campagnolo Components - $900 (Andover / Coon Rapids)[/h]

Trek 5500 OCLV Road Bike 24 speeds

Carbon Fiber Frame and Fork.

22" / 56 cm frame

Campagnolo Racing Triple components

This is a late 90's OCLV Frame and front fork.

Spinergy Rev X wheels

This bike has been ridden very little. It could use some minor upgrades, but has everything to make it a fantastic road bike.

I'm asking $950 for this bike.

You can email me or call Ed at 612 five five 8-6494. Will not respond to text messages

Maybe not immediately noticeable to the general public, but anyone like myself that frequents the RatRodBikes forum will instantly recognize that ad as a scam, since the bike is photographed in front of the same fence as every other bike that the site owner, Steve, takes pictures of his bikes in front of. Problem is, Steve is in Texas, and would never type up an ad like that. I don't recall him using goofy abbreviations for anything, nor do I recall him ever making a mistake in punctuation, much less several in the same paragraph. He is finding pictures of his bikes all the time attached to bogus phishing ads.

What really cracks me up about this one is the way the guy seems to be trying to stay off camera in the photo. Pretty impressive homebrew wheel, though it doesn't look like it has a tire.

Bicycle Big Wheel - $650 (miami )

the Penny Fart bicycle (also called "Highwheeler") could be described as one having a larger wheel with the seat mounted on top of it and a smaller wheel at the back.

asking price $650.00
