Both the Ted Williams and the Ross are interesting and kinda desirable bikes with wishful thinking prices. Maybe 200 on the Ted Williams (assuming it is a 531 model, I'd check), and 150$ for the Ross.
Heck, it's Craigslist. People can dream, can't they?

There's a Ted Williams been for sale on Chicago CL for about forever, currently asking $300. I think he might have started at $350 way back when. https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/4052909717.html
Sorta like the old Vituses; I kept an eye out for a frame for years... I would consistently see them above top of the market. I finally found one at a nice low price and snagged it. If I see one of these cheap enough, I'll buy the darn thing.
The Ross is a darn nice bike, but not worth that kind of coin. I've found two over the years; total outlay 50$. Admittedly below market, but closer too it than 800$.

Say what?
https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/4084496246.html
A kookie we call Jenever set me up on some wheels when i first landed in Swingsville. had my eye out for a large charge so i figured jumping on this pushbike would satisfy me, little less fight and a little more spark, ya dig? now, i ain't trying to cherry tree these facts so ill get a little real with ya... its been too long since ive balanced my self on these steel stallions. little nervous riding through the jungle next to all these cool rods blazing trails to and from the cave. safetys been my pull lately so pushing through traffic seems too far out for an old soul.
So here is where we are at now. the ride is up for grabs to the first cat who shows up with the flow. 30 bones. feelin like haggling? ive got a kung fu grip on it until 30 singles land on the coffee table, ya feel? 711 use to slang these rides before the 90s is what ive been sold. may not be the tonka truck with the latest trim but the machine works it for you.

No photo, but as CL posts go this is a *fine* example of ... something:
[h=2]Next To Free Functional Huffy - $50[/h]I bought this man's Huffy on my driving route (I'm a Delivery Driver) because I was test riding it and the owner thought I was stealing it. So, basically, I bought it to prove that I wasn't a robber. Bad idea. But hopefully good for someone. It shifts and rides well enough for the guy to think I was bolting away with it.

Post from the future...
https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/bik/4073548156.html
am selling an aluminum Mongoose twenty niner frame in very good condition. It is a
size medium or 17" and uses either 700c or 29er wheels. It is disc brake only and includes
a rebuilt bottom bracket. It is too small for us and I am building a bigger bike.
$50.00/offer (I have a matching 29er fork also available)
(I work on the west side and can bring the frame down there)

[h=1]Vintage bicycle with mahogany and brass handlebars[/h]
Starting bid: US $150.00
Item location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
You are looking at a vintage 10 speed bicycle with wooden Mahogany handlebars with a brass strip in the center held together with brass screws. So cool, I haven't seen anything like these except maybe those old school type racing steering wheels. Rides great and the seat is comfortable to it has those old school springs under the seat. It is getting towards fall time and I need to create some room for winter in the garage so the bike must go. Good luck on your bidding and I hope it go's to a good home.
Dry-rotted tires add to the "vintage" appeal.
Again they keep using that term "vintage". It's a late '70s era FrankenHuffy. The Mertens seat may be the only part on the thing with any value to a collector (marginal at best, even to a trust-fund hipster kiddie).

Jack of all trades
1. The bike's not worth $1400 in NOS condition
2. Champagne isn't a selling point IMO
3. No pictures in the ad
4. Campy could be anything from Velox to Super Record, but, does the seller even know?

Wow! How irksome can some people be? Here's a typical lazy nincompoop who refuses to take pictures of just the item, but, instead puts pictures of both shifters in the auction! What a lazy sack of grunt!!

I am sorely tempted to email this seller asking "could you send me some more detailed pics of the crank, lugwork and headset? And what's the standover height?"........

Worlds Largest Mountain Bike - $35000 (Denver)
Worlds Largest Mountain Bike is a sculpture built to promote bicycle awareness and to celebrate mans greatest invention. Its on a accurate scale of 3:1 off of a 29er bicycle. Its a sensation with the public and would do a great job as a art installation to promote your business. Roof of a bike shop, a center mast with shade sails for your coffee shop, Restaurant,Brew pub. Its power is the desire for people to photograph themselves with it in the background. A person with vision and marketing savvy should, "GET IT".
Bike comes with stand, price includes installation and delivery.
