Yeah, just a molded plastic shell so kids can have a bike that looks like a motorcycle. I've seen 'em advertised on the local CL here. Nothing customized like THAT though.

Granted they do look a little wacky, but it looks like a fine example of a minivelo. Not a bargain, but not crazy on the price, either.

Keep in mind that it's not being offered by some schmoe who just pulled it out of the back of his garage & has attached some arbitrary delusional price to it.
Plus, "make an offer" really means make an offer, the RAB guys aren't jerks.

I have exposed my parochial shortcomings. No criticism of seller or charity intended, he's got it to sell, the cause is good. It's the why of the bike itself, and of the "value." I Thought it an odd way to spend a grand, say, vs. Eric Baker buying a 1974 Masi GC in excellent condition for $750 on the same site today, but as I say that may just be my prejudices coming through.

Maybe this suits a bit better?

Vintage Panasonic Road Sport bike w/ computer (not working probably need battery)
and arm rest
Large frame solid bike fit someone around 6".

Not sure exactly how someone around 6" is going to use the arm rest in that position.

I love the description of this "vintage" piece. I only wish there were pics to go along with it.

[h=2] Antique Bike - $60 (sumter)[/h]
This is what i believe is a mid 1900s Sears and Roebuck bicycle it was a 3 wheeler bike but chain kept popping off and i couldnt figure out why so i converted it back to a 2 wheel bike. Fresh paint. Comes with the 3 wheel part just not attached rides like a dream smooth as can be.

You have to expect to pay a premium for quality photography like that.

Vintage Metal Dual basket. Not alluminum (sic).Old School

So it's vintage, not "alluminum" (sic), and he saw one (try to) sell on ebay for an even more inflated price. Does anyone have the heart to tell him one could buy one for about $40 (or less) new?
Oh wait, I forgot he's trying to be all clever in the description. That alone is worth $60, right?

Vintage Metal Dual basket. Not alluminum. Old School - $60 (Lloyd Center)

I bet you were just thinking to yourself "Shoot... I could really use a dual metal basket for my bike. I'm tired of not having enough room for all my cool stuff."

Luckily for you, I've decided to sell mine. It looks exactly like this one on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-META...item27d897ad92

Basically, they're trying to get $150 plus $20 shipping... that's crazy... unless you like wasting your money.

It's heavy duty, it's metal, it's old, and it could be yours!

Email/text/ call(I probably will make you leave a message)
I'm looking to get $60 OBO.

Man, I wouldn't what to live in this guy's town:

[h=2] Need a bike to get around town? - $50 (ocala)[/h]

craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap

2708 SE 48th St

Moving out of town with in the next couple of weeks and have no room for this bike. Offering it for $50.00 or best offer. It's well used as I actually use to ride it in all weather conditions for fitness purposes. Some rust on the chain and other metal parts but nothing some WD40 or cola couldn't handle. Couls use a little tightening up as well as it sat for a few months while I was in school.

recent CL scores

Picked up an '86 TREK Elance 400 for $140 (BUT - paint was ROUGH and it had Mtn bike Handles and shifters which were aborted in favor of period correct friction and drop bars) and an 80-something Miyata 914 for $200 which needed... nothing!!! One for the wife and one for the son... to replace a Raleigh Scott Tinley and an OCR1 that were stolen in November. So far I've had to spend a little dough on the TREK to get it respectable but I had the Brooks seat, bars, brakes and crank laying around so now they have a home

Well insane price used for this one is about $3000 bike A little icey. I'm low balling but these are likely lowball and in no way what I could or pay or yours is worth. With provinance proviable with interesting detailed history maybe $4500 to the right buyer pushing the hell out of it. Anthing over $3000 cash is fantisey land.
