schwinn super old rad bar crawl commuter - $100 (auburn)

schwinn highplains. Medium. Not too big and not too small.

From getting high in the plains, to getting high on planes, this bike will get you there.

You won't get there in style, but you always won't get your bike jacked.

Pub crawls.

Commuting to community college.

The bottle cage can hold beer.

Throw tailwhips and mad steezy power wheelies all god damn day.

This bike made greg minnaar look like a ***** at the 89 world cup (in his defense, he was 8yrs old).

If you're looking for a commuter / bar hop bike that won't get stolen like your buddies carbon steed when you're in class or at work, this bike is for you.

It's cheap, but it works great and it's a high plains. Cushy f***ing seat won't spill your 40...or your mocha, (not gunna judge)

you might get a free beer if you buy this bike.

Seems like as long as you end an ad with the phrase "god bless", you can pass all kinds of junk off as decent. Look at the badly bent fork on this one. No wonder wheels are bent.

Of course, described as "LIKE NEW"

[h=2]Raleigh Road Bike - $100 (Monroe )[/h]

I have like new road bike. Some new stuff on it like tubes, seat, and handle bar tape.
The only thing that needs to be done is new rims these are bent both. But other than that very good condition. Asking 100 obo. Call me at 704-906-3966
Thank You
God Bless

Which god?

I propose Lord Sheldon as god of lost vintage bikes which call out for restoration/salvation.

So say we all...

This is a nice, cool frame, but I'd be shocked if someone pays $1500 for it. And if are going to ask $1500 for a frame, at least wipe it down first!

[h=2]Vintage Mike Melton Handbuilt Road Road Racing Lightweight - $1 (berkeley)[/h]

Mike Melton worked for the Huffy Bicycle Company from 1982 to 1999 in Dayton, where he designed and built bicycles for Huffy-sponsored athletes, including the 1984 and 1988 U.S. Olympic Cycling Teams. I also believe that he designed and built some of the bikes for RAAM in 1980. Mike also had a brief tenure at Santana designing tandems..

This frame is built in a similar style to some of the current Yamaguchi customs.

Beautiful used Brooks B67 ladies saddle

http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/4322161742.html

Note: Bold for emphasis. And when this was posted yesterday, the asking price was $110, which they didn't change in the body of the ad.

Quote:
Beautiful used Brooks B67 ladies saddle with like new cover - $95 (Ne Broadway)

I have for sale a lightly used and well cared for Brooks B67 ladies saddle with the Brooks cover attached. This also comes with the wrench to adjust the saddle.

While this sadly is in amazing condition, it is used and therefore broken in.
If you are looking at this Brooks Saddle for sale, you may/should realize that buying a pre-broken in Saddle can be the way to go. It will allow you to just tighten or loosen to your desired flex levels.

This saddle has been used by someone very light and small in stature, therefore applying less stress over the time of use.

This saddle was purchased new for $167, and the cover separately for an additional $20.

This makes a price of $110 for the pair a steal, and your ass and your bike will thank you.
Of course, one can pick up a new Brooks B67S at Universal Cycles for $130, which is barely a mile from the address listed on the map.

Wow it always amazes me that people have the nerve to ask above top dollar high prices for stuff on CL or Ebay that isn't even clean. It takes about 20 minutes to give a frame through cleaning.

Up for sale is my Team Carbon frame that I bought with a bit too much wishful thinking. Made of High Modulus carbon it comes with a full carbon Easton ec-90 fork.
Gotta keep it real, I'm more of a steel kinda guy so carbon seemed appealing initially but its not for me. I won't race this thing, so maybe you should..

57 cm center to center
57 cm top tube
18 cm head tube
27.2 seat tube

I am also able to provide detailed images if someone needs them.

Frame Construction: TIG-welded
Frame Tubing Material:C6 ACE
Fork Brand & Model: Easton EC90 SLX Carbon

Phil's hubs, nice rims, nice frame, omnium crank, etc - total will be likely more. At least he is honest and admits he rode it quite a bit and open to offers + can throw extra stuff into the deal.
