    RARE! Specialized Stumpjumper ROAD BIKE

Specialized StumpJumper Road Bike, If you are a specialized fan you know that Stumpjumper is one of their Mountain Bike model. This was one of Specialized early roadbikes which are hard to find.

The bike runs amazing its ready to go and hit the road, For its age it is in great condition, AND IT IS FAST!!!! 54Inch frame

The only problem this bike has is that the Rear Derailer needs ajustment to shift to smaller gears, I do not have to tool for it otherwise Id fix that problem.

Looks to be a an early 80's Stumpjumber MTB frame that someone drewed and did a 27inch drop bar conversion on with random parts looks nicely done but kinda of wieard and definetly whacky not stock. I have seen half dozen or so of these older MTB to kinda road conversions they just dont' make any sense to me.

How was it Drewed? Still has canti cable stop in back, and derailleur hanger, apparently.

I've got one right now, 700c conversion complete, great gravel-grinder. The holes that they left in the center of the fork and frame are just fine for mounting caliper brakes.

    Single speeds: Now with triples!

Great Steel Frame Project - $150

I have great single speed steel framed bike. Haven't ridden in a few years but with a little work its a fantastic ride. I am a 6' male and can ride this comfortably. Would fit someone a bit shorter as well.

Needs a tune up...brakes, chain, handle bar grease and tires.

Has a brooks saddle, probably needs to be replaced though.

    Cash and Local only.

Thanks! Email if you are interested.

    Handlebar grease you say.
Punctuation is important. It's the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse"

No, you're not missing anything. The problem is the purposeful ignorance of the local sellers of bicycle related sales on craigslist. This despite nearly all of the PWT and redneck folks in this most bizarre town having internet access.

A fixed gear with brakes needs "handle bar grease" to make the ride more exciting. If you look at as a parts bike it's probably worth $150.

If you polish a turd, you get a shiny turd:

    1973 AMF Roadmaster 10 Speed

    1973 AMF Roadmaster 10 Speed - $250

    craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap

    (google map) (yahoo map)

Had this bike for about 1 year and have ridden it sparingly. Over $200 of work into the bike including a top to bottom rebuild and most new cables, new wheels and tubes, etc. The bike rides terrific with no issues with shifting, breaking or steering.

I imagine that he took it to a LBS and they did a complete overhaul. He should have checked this forum before sinking that much into that bike.

I was assuming he meant "fixie handle bars" like bullhorns or moustache bars or something... or perhaps he really meant "handle bar grease" and we're just not "in the know." I'm also not sure I see $150 worth of parts with that Brooks saddle being shot. Then again maybe it just needs some handlebar grease?

    Honesty in advertising...........

Can't say he tried to sugar coat it.

    26" Men's bike - dangerous, but its blue - $10 (East ******)

    00y0y_eikS4XOr1SF_600x450.jpg

Listen up, this bike is as dangerous to ride as a bike can be. Period.

NO BRAKES ... not even a single wire or brake pad, if you want to stop just put your foot between the frame and tire, it works for me.
BACK RIM IS BENT but the tires hold air. The front tire is a 26 x 2.125 Rear is 26 x 2.10 - the .025 doesn't seem to affect the absolute crappy ride, did I mention the rear bent rim ?
NO shifter for the front derailer although the rear does allow you to get 3, maybe 4 gears.
Small rip in the seat but it doesn't slow it down.
Handlebars could use a tightening but front fork is tight.
No reflectors so don't ride at night or you may get squashed by one of these idiots around here that don't stop at red lights.
Made in a foreign country out of cheap aluminum so it is very light and easy to throw at trees, did I mention the bent rim ?
Brand name ? .... who cares.
This bike DOES ride, I use it every day and although it sounds like a real piece of crap ... its because it is.
Due to the outstanding quality of this bike it serves as its own anti - theft system.
Located in East ******, bottom of the hill at the end of 7th next to the big muddy.
$9.99 ... and dont text me asking if Ill take $5 ... unless you throw in a pack of UNOPENED Marby Reds, I don't want any of that funny grass mixed in with my cancer sticks.

    Craigslist: Pinarello Dogma Ego Magnesium

"One of the priciest bikes on the market, the $17,000 (just for the frame) Pinarello Dogma Ego, uses magnesium alloy tubes. Lighter than aluminum or titanium, the material is almost impossible to bend or dent.
The bike has some dents and scratches. Some retouches have been made to the black paint. Aside from that it's in perfect condition."
