60cm De Rosa frame & fork - Columbus SLX - For REPAIR !

Quote:
Tubing is Columbus SLX w/ Campagnolo dropouts - frame was damaged by the previous owner who was attempting to remove a stuck seatpost.

Frame damage appears to be isolated to the seat tube only, no other dings or dents. If you have the means to have the tube replaced / repaired, this could be your dream bike for next to nothing - attention framebuilders!

Who removes a seat post by clamping the seat tube? Or whatever happened here.

Crap, Melborne? Hell, if it were just a bit farther south, I'd buy it for 99 cents and replace that seat tube. Fork is worth the price of admission.

It's obviously been used... and probably in ways you'd rather not think about.

I would like to find a unicycle for $25 or less that is ready to go on rides with my 5 kids. I was just able to get my youngest a bike, so now I need one. I am having financial difficulties, or I would not ask for anyone to sell me one for this. If you can help, please let me know. Thanks

McDonald's Bike Mccycle VERY RARE - $500 (Milford NH)

Quote:
Offering this VERY RARE 1974 Huffy 10 speed 26 inch Bike Mccycle made for just one year and was given away at McDonald's grand openings, if they choose to.This bike was given away at McDonald's in Fitchburg Mass. in 1974. The bike is yellow, yellow seat, chrome fenders & wheels, red taped handle bars., yellowish tires that are original and are dry rotted. Bike Mccycle written across the center bar and McDonalds logo and other info down the center post. See pictures. I contacted McDonald's in Oakbrook Ill and talked to the folks in archives and they didn't know about it. I talked to the president of McD's collectibles co. and they heard about the bike but never saw one. Talked to Huffy Corp. and they told me the plant that made that bike was closed and Huffy Co. didn't keep record that far back. This would make a great collectible Interested? call 603 673 4935 after 5 pm and talk to Mike Thanks

Okay - this guy has a pretty nice Raleigh Sports for sale, and the starting bid is a very reasonable $50 with no reserve:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Raleigh-Sports-3...item2a058f32ab

But - the item description is a piece of work. Fascinating, unique spelling and punctuation, a lot of self-promotion, and a tendency to drone on and on. Which is too bad, because if you actually read to the end of the description, you get this gem:

Quote:
Also since I'm a practicing Dark Arts Vo*dooist and Satani*st I'm a strong believer in Karma, hence the name bikekarma"."com & while all items are saged/blessed according to my faith, still however, any Negative karma (V.S. Positive) sent my way will be reflected [return to sender;] and amplified 9X usually within 1-2 moon cycles ~ need I say more?..

If however these sobering terms are acceptable to you, I welcome your bid or business.
Now, if that doesn't inspire you to bid, I don't know what would!
