I'm thinking he needs to calibrate his bathroom scale...

http://nashville.craigslist.org/bik/1700259577.html

Up for sale is a very nice racer. Raleigh Technium 480 - 27" 12 speed. Built in the early 80's and in almost new condition. Always stored indoors.
New tires.
New seat.
Diacompe Brakes
Suntour Gearing
Cateye Vectra speedometer/trip/average speed/top speed/odometer.
Weighs between 8 and 9 pounds.
Very fast. I have run it at 40mph.
This bike was a top of the line.
Comparable to todays price would be around 1,500.00.
Unique and will hold its value.
Price is firm at $500.00

And his speedometer as well. Unless of course he meant downhill, then it would
not be fast at all, haha.,,,,BD

Not a bad bike at all, but very high in price, and will not drop it a cent to move it. The MS150 is overwith as of
last weekend, so I think his target audience is gone until next year. CL always seems to get flooded with grossly
inflated prices about a month before the ride, then you barely see decent road bikes again until the next year.,,,BD

That's a Bridgestone, aka Kabuki, imported by C. Itoh, sometimes with that name on it. I had one as a commuter bike. It was OK, and it was reliable. For the condition and cleanliness, I'd say $150 is a fair, non-wacky price.

Vintage Fuji 1982 road bike - Damaged frame - $75 (Dupont Adams Columbia DC)

I am selling this vintage FUJI 1982 road bike because I don't use it any more.

The bike is now in very good condition, except for one local point of the frame, which is damaged (see picture).

Thus, the price is 75$ or best offer. Email me soon for questions or visits, this deal won't last long.

Yeah, for 75 bucks, why not see if a little elbow grease can take care of that "local damage"

Please sned your phone number in your reply. No phone number replies get thrown out with the rest of the spam. I want $150 o.b.o. cash only. Will trade for other vehicle that run on gas. It needs a few parts but is rideable. It may come with spare engine parts depending on what you want to offer me. It needs the complete shifter set up for a shimano 3 speed. It needs a pull starter, The electric start does work. It runs great. It is best for riders under 200 pounds . It has a small motor. I think its 49 cc. It does have an automatic transmission. Let me know what you have to trade. Im looking to do full or partial trades. I dont want to come out of my pocket though. Cash , trade and pick up only.
