This guy is really putting on the hard-sell - Who could resist?

( Probably trying to rid himself of the bike at the behest of his better-half. . .
"But honey, I tried and tried to sell it but it just wouldn't sell." )

True, lol! I can only imagine he saw a pristine exemple of his bike go for that much on ebay, and figured they're all worth a mint. Now if it was a Klunker 5, then I would be more interested. Rarest of the rare! I would be more interested, but still not $255 interested, hehe.,,,,BD

There are a few local big-time sellers in Chicago that have a standard list of keywords they use on EVERY listing of about 500 common search terms. I hate those guys with a passion!
There's a couple of CL sellers here in the NYC area who clog up the search engine with a standard cluster of some 500ish keywords too.
ARRGH!
I see that on eBay alot lately too. I've been spending more time flagging/reporting keyword spammers than finding bits I'm looking for.

I flag as well, though if they are abusing keywords I mark it spam/overpost. Miscategorized to me would be advertising your riding lawn mower in the bikes section.

Mountain Bike Customized - $300 (spokane)

great mountain bike has new bear claw pedals, new brakes, new tires, and a big gel seat. it also has the green plastic strips in both tires so you dont get a flat tire. reach me at 509-742-0614-brandon-thanks
LOL I saw that one. Reminds me of this ad: https://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3627278537.html
Has unpoppable tires, matching gloves, AND matching handgrips!! First pic is of the stupid handgrip. And who would pay 450 for a base Hardrock without disc brakes? He paid 700 new for a base hard rock?

[h=2]Specialized Hardrock (Green) - $450 (Spokane)[/h]
Bought about 3 to 4 months ago from Wheelsport Paid about 7 for it, now i'm trying to work towards a car instead of riding. Great bike though excellent condition only rode for about a week then the snow hit and never took it out. Has unpoppable tires on it that cost another 100 and have matching handgrips was another 30, got specialized matching green gloves. Great bike. E-mail through post or text/call 509 227 9142 Need The Cash!

Thanks!

ARRGH!
It's not the keyword spamming, it's the constant reposting of total crap at ridiculous prices that gets me!
DISNEY PRINCESS BIKES I'M TALKING TO YOU!

And the constant repost of the JC Higgins turd with no price, maybe there's a reason it was left in a basement for 90 years... not to mention the seller is at least an hour from NYC.

Misuse of the word vintage. Misspelling Schwinn. Ridiculous price. Three wrongs don't make a right.

[h=2]Vintage Shwinn stationary - 300 - OBO - $300[/h]

I have a Vintage gold-ish brown-ish colored Shwinn DX900. Just serviced pads still got some life in them.
Im open to trades. show me what you got!

A riding buddy recently picked up one of those (with the correct handlebars) at a Goodwill for $20.

peugeot bicycle - $280 (Ottawa)

Here's another wonderful CL ad in Ottawa:
https://ottawa.en.craigslist.ca/bik/3612209287.html

$300 paid originally or used? Plus after that, they take $20 off even with a mystery RD?

Yet another wildly overpriced Wal-Mart fixie. Someone apparently thinks there are some suckers that will pay this. Maybe there are.

There are a couple questions I have: 1)Do you actually have the bike 2) How do you know the year but not how to spell it?

Yes, I kind of thought so, too. I wonder if it's stolen. The picture has a trailer behind it... an ugly one.

I'm not sure which I liked best. The giant heap of garbage as a subtle backdrop or "Ralph". It has a gender, then it doesn't. Negotionable. Lots of power ha ha ha.

Ralph Male Mountain Speed Bicycle. It's also good for a female. It's a great bicycle lots of power.
It's a really fun ride. Price is negotionable
