We saw that all the time at the bike shop. There was this guy with one of the 10 grand Treks, and would bring it in once or twice a year for a tune up. I don't even think the brake cables have been properly stretched yet. Of course we had equal or more of the type that would rag a bike out in a year or so too. Rusted headset bearings and cable housings, and scratched up paint in less than a year.,,,,BD

Never heard of the brand 'dining table', must be custom

Very sturdy table. We painted it all in chalkboard paint. Nice finish to it. We have no use for this table. Takes up too much room. No chairs. Slides apart leaf in the middle. Table needs strong arms to push together. must pick up

The response I got from the Michelob Ultra mountain bike guy.... Classic!,,,,BD

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bik/4165570520.html

"CONGRATS! IT LOOKS LIKE YOU DID THE SAME THING THAT MOST HATERS DO. YOU GOOGLED THE NAME OF THE BIKE AND READ THAT TRASH FROM THOSE HATERS POSTINGS, THEY JUST CAN'T STAND THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ONE OR CAN'T AFFORD THE ONES THAT PEOPLE HAVE LISTED FOR SALE. THE FACT IS THAT, SINCE THIS BIKE WAS BRANDED WITH MICHELOB ULTRA MAKES IT 1000 TIMES MORE RARE THAN A BUDWEISER BIKE OR ANY OTHER BEER BRANDED BIKE, NOT ON THE MARKET. DO SOME MORE RESEARCH BESIDES READING THE FIRST 2 POSTS ON GOOGLE AND USING THE WORDS AS YOUR OWN. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE A ****** FOR A PRESIDENT. I BET YOU VOTED FOR HIM TOO,LOL"

Well the plain MTB's no decals labeling made by Pacific are not all that rare or valuable. Alot of them have been sold and buyers can but whatever decals they want on them. They guy with the Mihelob bike is basically charging a $400 premium for some rather poorly done decals/lettering.

[QUOTE=gaucho777;16205429]I know this isn't Classic or Vintage, but it is Wacky. Who spends $7500 on a bike and then only uses it once?! Must be one of those 1%ers.

I dunno... motorcycle dealer near my house always has a raft of used bikes for sale with maybe 1,000 miles on them. I mean, you buy a new motorcycle, shouldn't take long to run that many miles up.

They were a promotional "enter to win" giveaway bike, that were setup with huge beer displays in grocery stores. Wal mart quality, and the $400 premium is more like $450 or more judging by actual value.,,,,BD

Why is this a not a good triathelon(sp) bike? It has a basket to carry your running shoes, knobby tires for the grassy transition area, and mirrors so you can see all the other bikes before they pass you.

Yet another...the Atlanta market is quite pricey! A Free Spirit for $450...of course, I do not know a lot about this particular type of bike...maybe I am wrong!
