I FELT IN LOVE WITH THIS BIKE AT THE FIRST TIME I SEE IT . I UPGRADE IT WITH BEST PROFESSIONAL PARTS. THE SALE IS BECAUSE I'M MOVING PERMANENTLY BACK TO MY COUTRY ITALY AFTER MY WIFE PAST AWAY. I HOPE THIS BEAUTY WILL FIND A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE CARE OF. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND GOOD LUCK!

Also - this blast from the past - Taste the rainbow:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Huff...item2ecc752c98

[h=1]Vintage Huffy 10 Sun Dance Road Bike Bicycle Steel Frame Baby Blue with Rainbow[/h]Features:
  • Vintage Huffy 10 Sun Dance
    Baby Blue with Rainbow stripes
  • Lots of charm and beauty in the Bike. Simple design frame. Color is in great shape.
  • This bike rides great. Everything works.
You may want to do your own tune up, if you wish.
Beautiful Baby blue color with rainbow stripes... Very rare & awesome !!!
  • Tires are in good shape. It has been stored in a garage & basement, never left on the street.
  • The bike is average size and would be good for an adult around 5.0' - 5.9' Saddle and Handle bars are easily adjustable.
  • This Bike was sitting in a basement for too long, eager to go out on the streets.
  • It was tested and runs great. Everything appears to be in a good shape and working. You migh choose to do a tune up or, grease up some parts & give it a light polish.
  • Gorgeous Blue color with white Rainbow accents. Paint is in great shape for this age bicycle. It was stored in the dry, clean basement.
  • wheels are in a good shape. Tires hold the air.

Yes, but where are the POS heavy steel handlebars and POS steel road levers? How about the denim "saddle"?

And like hell it's eager to get back on the streets. The basement was the only thing that kept it alive. Despite the kid-glove treatment the rims still rusted.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I actually owned one of these when I was ten. It held together for six months of normal use. My current bikes are the very antithesis of this scale/theoretical model of a velocipede.

I'd buy it for the annual Christmas parade. Make it a Dr. Suess themed ride.

You are missing nothing just facing the hole effect on nicer vintage stuff. It goes up to a strong high based on condition and verifiable background. Then when nothing is verified it goes to zero.

i get that, but that R800 isn't a standout bike, really. maybe it's just that i'm not a fan of that seat/chain stay setup. if it had a full group 600/Ultegra, i could see that valuation, but not with 105.

A really, really good way to get extra chainring clearance, well, is to just cut a big chunk out of the chainstay!

Structural integrity unaffected. Really.

On an unrelated (but also available via Portland CL) bike... what's with the STEM?

Another example of "I spent x so bike is worth x + y". The Brooks panniers can be had new for a bit less than 250$ (210$ or so, but I'll give him that); and it's dubious a second-hand mass produced cruiser alone is worth $350 CL pricing. He did a nice job on it, but I can't see the money coming back.

The perfect city cruiser bike: Take the old school Schwinn frames with the beach cruiser styling, add a brand new set of BROOKS SADDLEBAGS, A brand new basket in the front air seat, tires and all. The frame was bought at a cheap price, had it painted and then added top dollar components, figured I'd build it for the old lady, but she left before she got it (too bad for her) and then I said I'd wait until I find an antique and rare Schwinn cruiser frame, clean that one up and give it all of these awesome upgrades and components but I got sick and never had time, so my loss is your gain. Now take into consideration that the Brooks Saddle bags alone are 250.00, and we haven't even touched the seat, basket, sprocket, chain, thumb ring type bell and more and she's got a complete tune up, new bearings and so much more: 500.00 quick cash 600 trade. Without Saddlebags 350 Quick Sale 400 Trade I AM TAKING TRDES/CASH and I CAN TAKE CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS!

You told them they should be asking more since it has those cool plastic slidey things that go up and down the spokes?
