Two in San Diego today:

Vintage Road Bike // everything in brand new condition //// ... //////

Looks incredibly clean, probably worth the ask, but what's with the camera angles? Is this bike being sold by spiderman?

And speaking of superheroes...

Bike for super man, nice and styles

[h=2]Bike for super man,nice and styles - $445 (clairemont mesa)[/h]

With long strong shocks.

Is that "for super man" because the net is made of super-metallic-fibers that only he can break through?

Couldn't be bothered to remove the net for the picture... Wonder why it is even there in the first place? Maybe it is infested with mason bees!

RARE Vintage Bianchi SX Sport Bike Celeste Green

RARE Vintage Bianchi SX Sport Bike Celeste Green - $340 (Hastings-on-Hudson)

Up for sale is a beautiful and rare vintage bianchi racing bicycle from the 80's in iconic Celeste green. Extremely high quality double butted chromoly frame, Mavic breaks, cinelli handlebars, shimano 105 derailleur, shimano rx100 downtime shifters, laprade seat post, selle Italia racing saddle, maxxis punctor proof tires bolted in with anti theft bolts, and racing cage pedals. Frame measures 56 cm and should fit anyone like 5"6 to like 6". Incredibly high quality components and a great frame that gives a cool vintage look. Great commuter bike. The only thing is there is a bit of surface rust and very minor damage to the frame. I tried to capture this with my camera. Also just for aesthetic reasons you might want to get new handlebar tape but that's only $15 or so. Rides great.

The seller left the part out about how the bike was neglected and sat outside in the rain for years.

Ok this one has been smoking something, wonder if it is serious or a prank he is playing on the owner...

Terribly Cool Terrible Road Bike

Wheels? Check.
Frame? Check.
Seat? Mostly Check.
Swag? Check.
Street Cred? Check.
Rust? Check.
Mojo? Check.
Vibe? Check.

No brakes? No problem!
12 gears, huh?! You only need ONE! This bike is stuck on that gear. It is known in ancient scripture as "The Forbidden Gear", and it makes the ladies go wild.
****Purchase of bike does not include protective equipment for the inevitable rush of hipster gals flocking towards you because as soon as they see you, they LITERALLY CAN'T EVEN.****

Super 80's.
Super apathetic. This bike screams "Whatever." but also screams "Sup. Cool."

Make the call. Get the bike.

$75 for the soon-to-be-dreamboat that will make this AS-IS hunk of coolness the hottest piece on the block.

It's hipster marketing, designed for irony's sake.

It's also (as Mike Myers would say) both bogus and sad.

I feel like such a fool. I sold this bike to a guy two years ago for five or ten dollars. 1959 spaceliner! one wicked bike Its exactly the same. I actually rode this thing around just like it is now in Chicago and Little Rock. It was my "don't need a lock" bike. I put that fork on it when the original crumpled going off a curb. If I had only known how cool it was!

This one while likely a OK Bar beater is maybe worth the asking price if it rides works perfect. The 1959 Spacliner was a second/third deluxe American heavy weight. Without all the orginal stuff there just not worth much, stock with all the details it would be a in different ballpark. Original with all the stuff this was basically the Pee-Whee Herman bike.

WOW! $340? Very minor damage? Rides Great? He should have said: "Needs new frame, fork and maybe a front wheel."

To be fair the one I sold is not anywhere near that shape!
had is where it rode smooth, lubed, decent bearings and such. But I always thought because of the stamped dropouts it was a knockoff of something better.

I really am not a fan of this kind of bike, and despised riding it I had those wingnuts so you could take the front tire off, as I was in some pretty rough areas. Would take the front tire off and pocket the wing nuts. Apparently that worked cause it was never stolen! When I sold it I put some nuts under them, as they tended to work loose every few miles or so.

The weird thing is, I never look at craigslist, was doing it on a bored whim, and clicked this one. When I saw that fork and stickers I was amazed, I think that even the grips are the same.

I think people see "Stumpjumper" and think its a "Rockhopper". It depends on the year and condition, but in my experience I would call that an "average" price for a newer Stumpjumper. A clean Brooks saddle is good for $100+ all by itself. That's sort of an odd looking bike, but it is a fairly expensive bike with a mix of nice components on it. I'll bet they get close to that from someone in the know.

Around here that's just a 20 something year old Stumpjumper with a bunch of stuff tacked on it, and not tacked on very well. He wouldn't even get $300 here, regardless of cleanliness. That new average price includes hydraulic discs, aluminum frame, 29 inch wheels, etc etc. Comparing that bike to a new Stumpjumper is like comparing a top of the line Hyundai to a Maybach.,,,BD

The cheapest SJ this year, is two grand?

Probably a better deal than the one I sold. To get it back into anything like that shape you would probably be in for way more than $635.
